Pony and Brony Wedding Rings: Jewelry is Magic

Ponies and Bronies getting married? I guess it does happen. Friendship is magic after all, and can lead to marriage if you find the right pony. These rings were made by Jason, a metalsmith who makes My Little Pony-themed jewelry and sells it over on Etsy. pony rings 620x484magnify

He made these rings for Samantha J. Stroh and her fiance. Jason designed the rings with 3Design CAD/CAM software and formed them with a milling machine. The woman’s ring has the cutie mark of Princess Cadence and the men’s ring has a cutie mark of Shining Armor. If you are a fan, you will know that those ponies were married in the episode “A Canterlot Wedding.”

You learn something new everyday. In fact, my manliness is leveling down as I write this.

‘My Little Brony’ Dolls: Friendship is Manly

For some reason, My Little Pony reminds me of the Powerpuff Girls. It’s probably because of their usage of bright colors or the fact that their larger-than-life fanbase includes unusual members, most notably grown-up men who probably aren’t who the shows’ producers were targeting.

My Little BronyBut there they are and here we all are. Male fans of My Little Pony are so great in number that they’ve come to be collectively known as bronies. You know, bros who love ponies.

Never being one to let something slip past them, College Humor picked up on this to come up with a new range of fictitious but oh-so-amusing line of dolls, aptly called My Little Brony. They even put together a commercial featuring the fake dolls, just for the heck of it…

LOLs aside, what do you think?

Featuring the Men Who Love ‘My Little Pony’: The ‘My Little Brony’ Doll

There’s just something about My Little Pony that gets to even the toughest of men. These fans are called bronies and they’re so m larger in number than you think. So much so that College Humor took it upon themselves to create their very own commercial for My Little Brony dolls, just because. They’re not as cute or adorable as the ponies–I mean, they’re bros, for crying out loud–but the fauxmercial is pretty hilarious.

Neck beard? Check. Brushable ponytail? Check. Yep, that’s My Little Brony in a nutshell for you.
