Sure, you call yourself a Doctor Who fan, but you can’t really say that unless you have this cool Talking K-9 plush. True fans have their own plush pet dog and they cuddle with it while watching marathons of the show.

K-9 Was the Ring Bearer at This Wedding: Here You Go Master

I can’t imagine anything neater than having a Doctor Who-themed wedding where K-9 is the ring bearer. For her wedding, Kelsie Curtis’ dad made her a replica remote controlled K-9 bring the rings to the bride and groom.

It is a pretty authentic looking K-9 too – not just cobbled together with hot glue and duct tape. But that wasn’t all. Dad also made the couple a TARDIS cake topper, made out of wood and with a pulsing light on the top. Okay Dad, that’s awesome. Just stop there and you already get the prize for coolest dad.

Nope, he wasn’t done yet. How about a sonic screwdriver cake cutter? Way to win the dad lottery.

K-9 USB Hub: The Laser Nose Knows

Doctor Who’s dog, K-9 might look kind of cute and cuddly as robot dogs go, but he can definitely hold his own. Now, you can have K-9 standing guard over your desktop – in USB hub form.

While it doesn’t contain the fount of encyclopedic knowledge of his TV doggelgänger, this K-9 USB hub can connect up to four of your devices to a single port. Unfortunately, his nose doesn’t actually fire laser beams either, but I’m sure with a little laser pointer modding, you could easily pull that off. It’s also not clear if his ear-tennae spin around, but I sure want them to.

K-9 is available for pre-order over at Entertainment Earth for $40(USD), and should ship starting this June.
