If you want to be taken seriously as a businessman you need two important things: a briefcase and business cards. A suit probably wouldn’t hurt either. A smart businessman multitasks by using a Leather Mini Briefcase Business Card Holder Mini Briefcase Business Card Holder. Now you’ve got all your bases covered. You could even put it inside your larger “real” briefcase if you still feel the need to carry one. It’s multi-tasking at it’s finest right here.

The hinges and little sliding buttons on this case really work just like a real attache case. It’s a most impressive way to carry and present your business cards. Because as I learned in Business 101 class, you never get a second chance to make a first impression. Or maybe that’s from a dandruff shampoo commercial slogan from the 80′s. Either way.

The Smallest Park In The Whole World

Mill Ends is the smallest park in the whole wide world. It measures just a little teensy weensy 2-feet in diameter and is located in Portland, Oregon. Oh, Portland? You don’t say. In this video, Mark Ross of Portland’s Parks And Recreation Department tells us alllllllllllllllll about Mill Ends. How much information could possibly exist about a park so small only one person can stand in it at a time? More than I inititally thought. Like way way more. I was basically just expecting Mark to point at a picture and say “This… is the world’s smallest park.” So you can imagine my shock when I realized the video was 3 minutes long. That’s like, eternity in internet time!

The World’s Smallest Cell Phone Looks Like A Toy

When it comes down to it, we all love to marvel at the world’s smallest blanks, but they’re generally not that practical. That’s why we doubt we’ll ever find ourselves snapping pics with the world’s smallest camera, keeping fish in the world’s smallest aquarium, or shooting targets with the world’s smallest revolver. But the world’s smallest cell phone might make sense… assuming you don’t need to play Angry Birds, browse the internet, or do anything other than make phone calls. Actually, okay this is probably just as useless as those other things. Still, Japanese company Wilcom thinks the tiny new Strap 2 phone will be a big hit… presumably among people who like working gadgets that look like doll toys from the early 2000’s. Available in white, black and pink, the phone features a one-inch display and an antenna. It will be available in Japan for $380.

Big Appetites: Photography To Drool Over

These days, we are constantly bombarded with photos that make us hungry. Have you been on Pinterest or Instagram? I rest my case. Photographer Christopher Boffoli presents food-inspired works that are a little more creative than what he ate for lunch. His series of photographs called Big Appetites turns the everyday into a miniature world. Playing on our perception of scale, he uses food to set the scene, and adds in tiny figurines of people doing everyday things. Rigatoni becomes a pipeline factory and a squashed blackberry is a crime-scene.

Surreal Photos Of A Miniature Man

Canadian photographer Joel Robinson used a shrinkray (or more likely, Photoshop) to create these surreal images. In the photos Robinson uses books as tents, climbs typewriter keys like steps, and catches coffee beans raining from the sky in a seemingly giant mug. It really makes you consider how awesome being borrower sized would be. One coffee bean would probably last you weeks, and a tealight candle would make a great campfire. What it doesn’t make you consider however is all the crazy battles you would have with big ass cockroaches and spiders.

Tiny Violin Is The World’s Tiniest Violin

Do you hear that sound? It’s the world’s smallest violin playing a sad song just for you. Man, I’m an @$$hole. This is the world’s smallest violin. The little thing was made to play for you personally when you won’t STFU about your problems by David Edwards. It measures 1/5 inches tall and — DAWWWWWWW! Sorry, sorry — what I meant to say is, it’s based off of a Stradivarius. This mini-instrument would be perfect for Barbie’s next concert! Well, if Barbie hadn’t spent so much time playing dress up and actually went to violin lessons and learned how to play. Also, it’d probably help if she had bendy arms, know what I’m sayin’? I’m sayin’ girlfriend doesn’t got elbows, yo!

Tiny Hardware: Mini Tool Chest & Mini Tools

This is a miniature tool chest with teensy tools. It’s made to 1/12 scale of a Hewitt chest and contains all the same tools you’d expect to find in one. Even the teensy little lock is functional! The thing was crafted by William Robertson, a miniaturist. I didn’t know that was a job either, but I’m seriously reconsidering job paths. It took William over 1,000 hours to complete the project which is more time than I’ve ever dedicated to doing anything. Except dreaming of pizza. I’ve spent waaaaaay more than some measly 1,000 hours dreaming about pizza. Mama loves you, Pizza. Thinking of you always!

OMG! LOTR Hobbit Dollhouse

If Hobbits were the size of Borrowers this is the house they would live in. Also my head would explode from all the cuteness… I mean tiny pocket-sized hairy-footed Hobbits? SO ADORBS! Anyway, this miniature Hobbit dollhouse was created by artist and LOTR superfan Maddie Chambers. The dollhouse started as a college assignment and quickly grew into an ongoing project. Chambers was already no stranger to working with miniatures thanks to her experience playing Warhammer when she decided to create the exterior of Bilbo Baggins’ home. Before she knew it she was drawing plans for a replica of Bag End from the movie and creating furniture, food and other items to fit inside.

Virgin Mary As Pop Culture Icons

This is a series of pop culture icons made from miniature Virgin Mary statues. Sweet Mother of God, they’re good lookin’. The figures were painted and sculpted by artist Soasig Chamaillard. She’s got some of our favorite characters like Super Mary O, Hello Mary, and My Little Mary. Now before you come in here and start screaming “SACRILEGE!” just remember: this is art. Also, I went a little hard on the sauce last night so mama’s got a headache this morning. So just… try and keep it down.
