James Corden Want’s to Be Deadpool’s Sidekick

Lots of super heroes have sidekicks. Batman has Robin for instance. So far, Deadpool doesn’t have a sidekick, but James Corden, host of the Late Late Show, really wants the job. So Corden sat down with Ryan Reynolds to try and persuade him to create a new sidekick role.

Naturally, Corden was the sidekick, and dressed up in a variety of weird costumes to win the role. I’m not sure what’s up with that strawberry costume. Reynolds isn’t crazy about any of them, but in the end he comes up with a solution. I won’t spoil the finish for you, so just watch the video and enjoy…

If you haven’t seen Deadpool yet, you need to go it’s awesome. There will surely be sequels and they had better be just as awesome.

Petition Asks for Deadpool to Host SNL

Back in the ’80s, Saturday Night Live was the show all the cool kids stayed up to watch. If your parents let you stay up that late, you were a badass in elementary school. I liked those old skits with Eddie Murphy and his castmates, but the modern show is a bit boring to me. But if this petition comes to fruition, I would definitely watch the show.

Yes, a petition has been put up at Change.org to try and get the producers of SNL to sign up Deadpool to host. To be clear, they don’t want Ryan Reynolds to host, they want Deadpool. In other words, Reynolds in costume with his perfect Merc with a Mouth wit.

I’m not sure how they could tone it down with the language Deadpool is known for, but this is about the only way you would get me to tune into SNL short of bringing back Murphy to meet Mr. Landlord for a reunion of Mr. Robinson’s Neighborhood. The Deadpool petition has over 50,000 signatures so far.

Betty White Reviews Deadpool

Ryan Reynolds is a funny guy, and he was born to play Wade Wilson both before and after being turned into an avocado’s anus. I saw the movie this weekend and it was so awesome – easily my favorite superhero film even though Deadpool really isn’t a hero.

Betty White liked it too. In fact, she gave a review of the film and granted it four Golden Girls. Mostly she seems to like Reynolds in his tight red suit. The review is short, sweet, and has zero spoilers, so check it out:

I’m not going to give the movie away, but you should see it. You might not want to take young kids to see it, it’s raunchily glorious. Hear what White had to say in the video above.

Ryan Reynolds Keeps Teasing Deadpool Fans with Awesome Pics

If ever Hollywood got the casting right for a role it was when someone decided to put Ryan Reynolds in to the Marvel universe as Deadpool. Reynolds certainly has the mouth part down, he keeps teasing fans with weird photos, and glimpses from the movie.

The latest tease is of Deadpool sideways in the air over a shot-up old Saturn. The caption Reynolds put with the photo says, “Stuck the landing. With my mouth.”

This is going to be an awesome movie and I keep wondering if Deadpool will break the fourth wall and talk to the audience in the movie. He almost has to, doesn’t he?
