8 Funny Car Stickers For Geeks

Girl Walking Robot AT-AT Star Wars WHITE Vinyl Car Laptop Window Wall DecalGirl Walking Robot AT-AT Star Wars WHITE Vinyl Car Laptop Window Wall Decal

Car stickers have been around for as long as I can remember and everyone has varying opinions about them. But, to be honest, I think they’re really cute and funny. I find a place for geeky stickers whenever I can and this list is all about funny car stickers that you can place on your car.

Peeking Monster Funny Scary Eyes Decal Sticker for Car Walls Windows Graphic Vinyl Car

This one is really popular around the world and I’ve seen them on cars a lot of times. They look best on the lower side of the boot and it actually looks really funny. Since it uses UV and water-resistant material, it is prone to fading, peeling and cracking. It comes with comprehensive instructions on how to apply them, so you don’t have to worry about it.

ADB Inc Despicable Me Minions 3d Cartoon Waterproof Stickers for Car

This is from one of my favorite movies and I’m sure a lot of people feel the same. These vinyl stickers show three hanging minions and can be stuck just below your rear windshield. It is a PVC sticker and you don’t have to restrict them to your car alone. You can use them absolutely anywhere in your house and it is going to be a treat for minion fans.

Baby Sith On Board Star Wars Funny Decal Sticker Car Motorcycle Truck Bumper Window Laptop Wall Décor Size

The Sith are major antagonists in the Star Wars franchise. This decal shows baby Sith in diapers and I don’t know about you, this is as funny as it can get. These stickers can start a laugh riot and will also go down well with Star Wars fans.

OKDEALS 3D Cute Peep frog funny car stickers Truck Window Vinyl Decal Graphics Auto 2pcs

A lot of stickers leave marks when you remove them, but that is not the case with this peeping frog window decal. This one can be stuck on any of the windows or even on the rear windshield at a corner. What I like about this one is that it looks extremely realistic. One look at it and you will almost believe that there is a frog looking at you.

Yonger 2 X Cute Smile Face 3D Decal Sticker

Most of the stickers are meant for windshields and windows, but this one is really different from the rest. It is meant for the rear side of the rear-view mirror and is basically just a cute winking smiley. For less than a dollar, I think everyone should get this car sticker.

ANGDEST Wubba Lubba Dubs Dubs Waterproof Vinyl Decal Stickers

Any Rick and Morty fans here? Wubba Lubba Dub Dub is a catchphrase that Rick uses in the series and it translates to “I am in great pain, please help me”. This decal comes in 9 different colors and you can use it on your car, laptop or even your bedroom. Like most of the other stickers on this list, it comes with a transparent background, which means that whatever you stick it on becomes its background.

Rear Wiper 3D Cat Sticker Car Auto Window Windshield DIY Decoration Cute Animal Stickers Moving Cat Tail Sticker Cover Lovely Kit Car Decal Stickers

This is the funniest car sticker on this list and you’ll feel the same after one look at it. It has a cat with a cheeky face looking behind. But the best part is the tail portion which can be stuck to the rear wiper. The next time it rains or when you just want to have a good laugh turn on the rear wiper and experience the fun. I’m sure that this one can bring a smile to anyone’s face.

Girl Walking Robot AT-AT Star Wars WHITE Vinyl Car/Laptop/Window/Wall Decal

This is a computer cut vinyl that is best suited for your car, laptop, window or any of your rooms at home. The best part is that it comes in 22 different colors which will cater to the likes of anyone. They also have a great practice of providing a practice decal along with every order so that you can apply it and make sure that everything is right before you apply the actual sticker.

10 Worst Movie Sequels Ever

Everyone loves movies, but not everyone loves movie sequels. Sometimes, you might wonder why on earth a movie needed a sequel anyway. Of course, the answer is usually to make more money, and though that’s not a bad thing, it can be glaringly obvious when a sequel is made simply to build on a previous film’s success. Many sequels are unimaginative, boring, weird, or simply terrible. I’ve compiled a list of the worst movie sequels of all time. Read on to see what they are!

The Lost World: Jurassic Park

Honestly, I could have included the third Jurassic Park film as well. It’s a shame, considering how amazing the original film is, as well as the 2015 sequel, Jurassic World. The Lost World fails as a sequel because it doesn’t bring anything new to the series. What impressed audiences the first time around, such as the incredible special effects and creative plot, was already stale by the time The Lost World was released. It doesn’t have better effects, or a better plot, or better anything. It’s the first movie rehashed all over again, just with a few new characters. This is where the third film fails as well as many other sequels to various series. If you want a good sequel, you have to improve upon the first film, otherwise, you’re wasting your time.

Evan Almighty

This is an example of a sequel that should never have made it to production let alone release. Bruce Almighty was a hilarious, unique, film, about an ordinary man, Bruce, played by Jim Carrey, literally becoming God. To my knowledge, that plot had never been executed up to that point, and then Evan Almighty came along a few years later, except instead of becoming God, its main character became Noah. Yes, the Noah from the Bible who builds an ark. Yes, this film is about a modern man building an ark. The plot is just too ridiculous to be funny and the special effects look cheap. It seems like Evan Almighty tries to appeal to more family audiences than its predecessor, but its childish humor is more insulting towards its audience rather than entertaining. This is simply an awful movie.

The Matrix Reloaded

Okay, so I’ll admit that I’m not a fan of The Matrix in general. I just don’t see the appeal of the first film, but I understand why it’s so famous. The special effects, that iconic slow-motion photography, the plot, it was all groundbreaking for the action genre. How many films do you see now that use slow-motion? You have The Matrix to thank for that. I’m grateful for the action staples that The Matrix popularized, and it’s a film that will always hold a special place in cinematic history. Its sequels, however, are not good. Both The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions are more examples of unnecessary sequels. The Matrix was satisfying. I don’t think many audiences were clamoring for a sequel, let alone two. Just let a good thing be, movie studios, stop trying to be cash cows.

Spider-Man 3

This is the film responsible for the Amazing Spider-Man reboot, and yet another reboot being released this summer, Spider-Man: Homecoming. If it wasn’t for this disaster, I imagine that Tobey Maguire would still be donning the Spidey suit today. Unfortunately, Spider-Man 3 went very, very wrong. There isn’t one villain, but three. All packed into a two-hour film. Sounds good right? Nope, not at all. We have the new Green Goblin, Sandman, and Venom all fighting our friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. There’s just way too much going on in this film, and it’s such a shame because it could have been done so much better. Venom is one of the beloved Spider-Man enemies, and he was completely butchered because there simply wasn’t enough time to flesh him out, nor was there time to really flesh anything out. All of that plus emo Peter Parker make for a disappointing film. Oh well, perhaps it was a blessing in disguise because this summer’s Spider-Man looks to be the best one yet.

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

Dear Hollywood, stop with the unnecessary sequels. Indiana Jones is an extremely popular series for good reason. The original trilogy was entertaining and fun. It was full of wonder and excitement. It made people everywhere want to be an adventurer. Fast forward thirty years, and Hollywood decided to bring back the magic that made the originals so wonderful, except they didn’t bring back the magic. In Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, Indy is an old man. He doesn’t move as quickly as he used to; he’s not the action hero he once was. And instead of being okay with that, the film decides to make jokes about his age. They aren’t funny. And then not to mention Shia Labeouf as the son Indy didn’t know he had. Shia’s character is so bad I can’t even remember his name. He didn’t belong in this film, and that plotline was cliched and executed poorly. This is an all-around bad movie. There’s nothing redeeming about it.

Star Wars Episode One: The Phantom Menace

The worst Star Wars film of all-time. Okay, I know some people disagree. Attack of the Clones is a close second, in my opinion. If there’s something everyone can all agree on, it’s that the first two prequels aren’t good movies. It’s unfortunate considering this is one of the most popular franchises ever, but I suppose there are always flaws even in the best series. Here are the reasons why Phantom Menace deserves its spot on this list: Child Anakin. It’s incredibly sad that the actor playing him got so much hate because it really wasn’t his fault. Even the best actors, such as Ewan McGregor, did not get to showcase their skills in this film. Watch Natalie Portman in this and you would never guess she’d eventually win awards in future roles. Unfortunately, little Anakin’s bad acting mixed with the horrible script make for a memorable infamous portrayal. Now did I mention how horrible the script is? That’s the second reason this film is so bad. Star Wars has never had great dialogue, but Phantom Menace takes the cake for bad dialogue. Now to reason number three, Jar Jar Binks. Put him in any film and chances are that film will end up on lists like this. He’s just the worst.

Cars 2

Cars 2 shouldn’t have been made because the original wasn’t good either. Cars is one of Pixar’s poorest efforts, and that’s saying something considering they often make such high-quality films. Cars 2 isn’t just one of the poorest efforts, but it is the poorest effort. It’s not really even an effort. Clearly, Disney and Pixar were just looking for money when they made this sequel, not caring about quality. For some reason, the Cars franchise remains popular with young children, maybe because there’s something enchanting about talking cars. But take away the whimsy of talking cars and you have a bland, boring series. And who on earth decided to give Mater such a larger role in Cars 2? He’s like the Jar Jar Binks of this series.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen

I hate Transformers. Clearly, I am biased against this film in the first place, but the reason it’s on this list is because not only is it a bad Transformers movie, it’s a bad movie period. From the bland romance to repetitive action, and silly humor, there’s nothing that’s actually fun about this movie. If you like watching mindless action sequences, it’s fine as far as that goes, but if you like anything more substantial, there’s nothing of substance here. It’s a bad romance, a bad comedy, a bad action film, and a bad drama. I will never understand how this series continued after this film.

Jaws 2

Jaws is a classic. Everyone knows the theme song. Everyone has heard of the iconic film. But how many people watched Jaws 2? Not nearly as many, because it’s not nearly as good. Of all the Jaws sequels, Jaws 2 is actually probably the best, but chances are if you haven’t watched this one, you’ve probably never even heard of the others. I wanted to include films on the list that a wide range of people would at least know about, so that is why Jaws 2 has earned its spot here. Jaws 2 is much more of the same action and horror you watched in Jaws 1. It’s another unnecessary sequel that doesn’t try to improve on its earlier effort. It’s a waste of time.

Teen Wolf Too

The first Teen Wolf is a cult-classic that spawned a television series (the television series is nothing like the film, however.) Teen Wolf Too is not a classic. It’s perhaps one of the most unnecessary sequels, and that’s saying something considering how many other unnecessary sequels I included on this list. Teen Wolf Too doesn’t even have the original cast in the film, nor the same characters. What was endearing humor in the first film, feels forced and decidedly not funny in the sequel. Even the title is stupid. “Too,” really? Major eye-roll. A simple “Two” would have sufficed. Maybe it sounds like I’m being too harsh, but this just isn’t a good sequel.

12 Best Movie Sequels Ever

Every summer it seems the box office is dominated with sequels. Superhero sequels, sequels to long-running series, and sequels to films that you didn’t think even needed a sequel. Sometimes this amount of sequels can seem overwhelming, and you might wonder when movie studios will come up with something original and new. Nevertheless, if you’re like me, you’ll probably be curious to go and watch the sequel anyway. Love or hate the fact that sequels are so prevalent, there’s at least a few out there that you can’t get enough of. I’ve put together a list of what I think are the 12 best movie sequels ever. What are your favorite sequels?

The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers

The first of two Lord of the Rings films on this list, the reason I decided to include it is because it’s a part of what I consider to be the best movie trilogy of all time. The Two Towers is the second film of the beloved trilogy, and though sometimes telling the middle of a story can be difficult, The Two Towers does an excellent job. It introduces us to exciting memorable characters, such as Eowyn, and shows us what many consider to be the greatest battle sequence in the trilogy, The Battle at Helm’s Deep. This is not really a sequel that you should watch without watching the first movie however. In order to understand what in Middle-earth is going on, you must watch The Fellowship of the Ring before diving into The Two Towers.

The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King

The Return of the King is my favorite film of the Lord of the Rings trilogy, and epic is the perfect word to describe it. Packed full of amazing action, beautiful scenery, and fantastic acting, Return of the King is what every fantasy film should strive to be. It concludes the story of the dangerous One Ring and the Fellowship’s quest to destroy this ring. No one will be able to forget many of the scenes in the film, including the one where Sam carries Frodo to Mount Doom, or the scene where the villainous Gollum finally meets his demise.

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest

At first, I wanted to include the third film in this series, At World’s End, but I decided on Dead Man’s Chest because I realized that I am in the minority when it comes to loving At World’s End. Dead Man’s Chest is a better pick because it builds on what made the first film, Curse of the Black Pearl, so popular. It gives us more swashbuckling action, hilarious humor, and gorgeous set pieces. Pirates of the Caribbean is known for its humor, and less so for its drama. Dead Man’s Chest, the beginning of the story of the cursed Davy Jones, excels in creating a balance of humor and darkness, and of course, everyone loves Jack Sparrow. I realize that At World’s End didn’t do such a great job at finding a balance and kind of got too convoluted and take its self too seriously.

Captain America: Civil War

I just couldn’t pick between Civil War and Winter Soldier so I included them both. In my opinion, Captain America has the best sequels of any superhero series, and both sequels are superior to the original film, which is a rare feat. Civil War is so great because it’s what the Avengers films should have been. It has the whole crew, Captain America, Iron Man, Black Widow, even Spider-Man and Ant-Man. The only people missing are Thor and Hulk, and honestly, their presence isn’t all that missed. Civil War manages to balance numerous story lines, humor, action, and heart. We really get to know the Avengers and their vulnerabilities, more so than in the Avenger films. Captain America himself grows so much in this film, as well as the other sequel The Winter Soldier, and it’s such a wonderful sight to see. The growth of his character is my favorite of all the Marvel heroes, and with Civil War, he cemented himself as my favorite superhero.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier

Before Civil War was released, The Winter Soldier was my favorite Marvel film. It felt like a Bourne movie just as much as a superhero movie. The parallels to current real-life news are subtle, yet powerful. The message of the film is clear. The villain, played by Robert Redford, is still one of my favorite Marvel villains. He’s understated, unlike many Marvel villains. He’s not too over-the-top or cheesy, he’s actually believable. People like him really do exist, and that’s what makes this film so relevant. Take away the superhuman strength of Captain America, and you have a man just like you and me, fighting for good in a bad world.

Toy Story 3

Toy Story is one of the best-animated series of all-time. It’s just as good for adults as it is for children, full of childhood nostalgia, and reminiscent of easier times. Who can forget such memorable characters like Woody and Buzz Lightyear? I’ve seen Toy Story 2 on plenty of best-of lists, but the reason I’m deciding to include Toy Story 3, is because of the final sequence of the film. How many people cried in the trash compactor scene when it seems like the toys are about to meet their end? And how many people shook their heads and couldn’t believe they were crying about a group of fictional animated characters who were toys? This film was so powerful because it made you care about these characters, and it made you think about your own childhood. Because of that, I think it’s even more resonant with adults than it is with kids. The scene when Andy is about to go to college and leaves Woody with the little girl, once again, made me cry. You don’t realize how much toys have an impact on you until you’re an adult and have to say goodbye. My goodness, I’m getting teary-eyed all over again.

The Dark Knight

I’ll admit, I’m not a fan of most DC Comics films. They’re often just too serious for a bunch of people running around in skin tight spandex, yet The Dark Knight is one of my exceptions. Yes, it’s incredibly serious and depressing and dramatic, but the acting just makes it shine. Heath Ledger’s Joker is the best Joker to ever grace the screen. Not even Jared Leto’s Joker compares. Christian Bale’s Batman is the best Batman, and Ben Affleck doesn’t even come close. The actors in this film are just so brilliant, some of the greatest actors in the world, and though we’ve lost Heath Ledger, we will never forget him and his wonderful talent immortalized in this masterpiece of a superhero film.

The Empire Strikes Back

My favorite Star Wars film is actually Revenge of the Sith, but in terms of sequel power, The Empire Strikes Back simply has more power. Go back to 1977 (I wasn’t alive, so I’ll just pretend.) You’ve just watched Star Wars in theaters, and you’ve been blown away by the latest and greatest in special effects technology. You want more of this epic space opera, and you can’t wait until there’s another sequel. Fast forward a few years, and suddenly Star Wars is back, this time with an even better film. In The Empire Strikes Back, we learn that Darth Vader is Luke’s father, and it’s one of the most unforgettable scenes of all time. That alone, makes this one of the best sequels ever.

National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation

In a list full of action films, you’re probably surprised to see Christmas Vacation, a complete comedy. I’ve included it because you don’t have to have an action series to make a successful sequel. Though many comedy sequels are hard to pull off, Christmas Vacation goes off without a hitch. It’s actually the best film in the Vacation series and the most widely accessible for audiences of most ages. Christmas Vacation has also aged well, as its jokes holiday jokes and antics are funny to anyone who’s ever experienced a family Christmas.

X-Men: Days of Future Past

I absolutely love the newer X-Men films. X-Men: First Class took us back in time to the 1960s and gave this series a makeover. Day of Future Past builds on First Class, helping us get to know Mystique, Xavier, and Magneto far better than we ever got to know them in earlier X-Men films. We dive into the friendship of Xavier and Magneto, and explore their falling out. It’s a fascinating film, with a lot of depth, as well as a lot of fun.

Jurassic World

Who doesn’t love Jurassic Park? The 90s classic gave us top of the line CGI tech, and even holds up well today, actually looking better than some current CGI films. After two mediocre sequels, the Jurassic Park series was rebooted with Jurassic World, and it is by far the best sequel in the series. No, it’s not as good as the original film, but it’s a great film in its own right. Chris Pratt is a great action lead, and the dinosaurs look realistic and terrifying.

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban

I love this series so much that I could have picked every sequel, but after some deliberation, I decided that Prisoner of Azkaban deserves a spot on a best-of list. It’s really the Harry Potter film that establishes the Harry Potter film universe as we know it. Sorcerer’s Stone and Chamber of Secrets had a different tone, a more childish in a way tone. That’s certainly not a bad thing, but Prisoner of Azkaban gave us a darker tone that the series carried throughout the rest of the films. The lightheartedness was certainly still in there, but Prisoner of Azkaban really showed us that the wizarding world was in trouble. It’s also a brilliant sequel because the addition of Sirius Black and Remus Lupin are some of the best additions to the entire series. They are fan-favorite characters, and they are played by extremely talented actors.

For those of you who are the bride or groom, one of the best things about wedding planning is getting to taste the cake! So let us all eat cake and continue on with this list of cute, geeky wedding cakes for the geeks getting ready to tie the knot.

Elegant, classy, and no one will know it’s Doctor Who until they look at the cake topper! This cake is perfect for those who are looking for a more subtle way to show off their geekiness.

Lego Wedding Cake

Image via: Pinterest
I love this cake, because it’s such an easy idea to recreate without the help of a professional cake artist. All you need is a set of legos and an imagination, and you can create the lego-inspired cake of your dreams.

My Neighbor Totoro Wedding Cake

Image via: Brit + Co
The cake itself is my favorite on this list. Without the Totoro topper, it would just be a darling cake, and with the topper, it’s even cuter! Those pink flowers and the brilliant detailing on the tree trunk are just gorgeous.

The Legend of Zelda Wind Waker Wedding Cake

Image via: Pinterest
The powder blue color and the Zelda triforce symbol, as well as the cloud-like frosting makes for a delicious looking themed wedding cake! I also appreciate the touch of Harry Potter and Star Wars with their symbols making appearances on the cake as well. What a great way to show off your love of multiple franchises!

Superhero Wedding Cake

Image via: Pinterest
There’s something about the color white. It makes everything look beautiful and wedding-ready, but the superhero touch gives this otherwise typical pretty cake a splash of uniqueness. We all want to be unique on our wedding day right?

Portal Wedding Cake

Oh my goodness, I can’t get over the cake topper! The turrets are so adorable in their little wedding get-ups. Look at the veil and bowtie! Not to mention the companion cube sitting atop the fluffy white cake. I’m in love with this cake.

Mario Kart Wedding Cake

Image via: Pinterest
Maybe at first glance this cake looks more like a birthday cake with all of its bright colors, but it’s so much fun! Mario and Peach top the cake with a pair of hearts and somehow it’s such a romantic scene, even if they’re fictional characters. I love all the added detail here as well, like the race track and coins.

Lord of the Rings Wedding Cake

Image via: Plans & Presents
This unique cake gives me nature vibes. That wood cake stand, those edible frosting roses, and the color of the cake all make this cake right at home in a forest setting. I love the Lord of the Rings inscription, taken straight from the One Ring itself. Is that Arwen and Aragorn standing on top of the cake? It’s beautiful.

Harry Potter Wedding Cake

Image via: OBNIIIS
Another classic white cake, with a geek’s touch! The golden snitches and the stylized “Always,” turn it into a Harry Potter fan’s dream. The swirly designs are magical as well, fitting right in with the Harry Potter theme as well as simply adding beauty to the whole aesthetic.

Star Wars Wedding Cake

Image via: Trend Hunter
Who’s up for a slice of the Death Star? This cake is so out of this world that it doesn’t even look like a real cake! I bet it tastes delicious though, and who wouldn’t want to take a chunk out of this evil ship? That stormtrooper bride is hilarious as well.

Batman and Wonder Woman Wedding Cake

Image via: The Knot
This is probably one of the most simple ideas to emulate on the list. Take your traditional looking wedding cake and just add a pair of your favorite action figures to the top of it to turn it into a geeky cake. The person who made this cake chose to add Wonder Woman and Batman — they’d make a good fanfiction pair. (Ahem, not that I write fanfiction.)

Pokemon Wedding Cake

Image via: Pinterest
Another traditional cake, with the added touch of a couple of classic cute Pokemon characters. A casual wedding guest might be unaware that this is a Pokemon cake unless iconic characters such as Pokemon or Squirtle are included, but I think this cake is perfect for those who want to show their love of Pokemon without Pokemon being the main focus.

Disney Castle Wedding Cake

Image via: Disney Weddings
Why not celebrate the happiest place on Earth while at the celebration of your happiest day on Earth? This cake is a replica of the Disney Land castle, and it’s absolutely magical! I love the inclusion of icicles, perfect for making this a winter wedding cake.

Mass Effect Wedding Cake

Image via: When Geeks Wed
Holly Conrad (famous cosplayer and artist) and Ross O’ Donovan (member of Youtube’s Game Grumps) — otherwise known as geek royalty — had a space themed wedding a few years back. Their wedding cake was Mass Effect’s Normandy, and it was absolutely fabulous. #Weddinggoals.

Did you fall in love with any of these cakes? I fell in love with all of them!

9 Best Shows To Binge Watch on Hulu

I’m back with more shows to binge watch this summer. Here are the 9 best shows to binge watch on Hulu! I hope you like my picks and find a great new show to watch!

My 600-lb Life

If you’ve read my other articles about binge-worthy shows, you’ve probably noticed my preference towards reality TV. Of all the reality TV shows I’ve talked about, I must say, My 600-lb Life is perhaps the one most worth watching. It’s informative, educational, and a cautionary tale showing what happens when a person gives up on their health and well-being. It showcases the many struggles that come with being severely obese, not just physical, but emotional as well. My 600-lb Life doesn’t refrain from showing the more disturbing aspects of being obese, such as perpetually open wounds and sores, and suicidal thoughts that the people in the show must deal with. From depression, to struggles getting out of bed or even going to the bathroom on their own, My 600-lb Life is sad and difficult to watch, yet it is necessary to watch, as no one wants to end up in the dire situations that the show’s subjects end up in. Thankfully, almost every story told in the show, is a success. Watch as people transform their lives and turn their situations around. The transformations are amazing to watch, as some people lose over four hundred pounds in the course of a year. Seasons 2 and 3 are available to watch on Hulu right now.

Burning Love

A parody of the popular show, The Bachelor, Burning Love is about a group of women competing for the love of one man. Unlike The Bachelor, however, this show is completely fictional, and meant to be as hilarious as possible. There’s an elderly woman, pregnant woman, and a homeless woman, among other, more ordinary (and less ordinary) contestants all competing on this show together for the love of a firefighter named Mark Orlando, a man who is clueless, naive, and very very ignorant, to put it nicely. Instead of earning roses, like in the Bachelor, the contestants on Burning Love win “hoses.” Yes, you read that correctly, they earn hoses as a token of Mark’s affection. All of the ensuing antics on this show are absurd and outrageous, yet also just plain funny. Some people watching this show might find it a bit too absurd for their tastes, but I’ve got to say it never failed to make me laugh at least once in each episode, and I like to think I have a pretty sophisticated sense of humor. Seasons 1 and 2 of Burning Love are available on Hulu. (Season 1 is far better than season 2, which a story for a different article.)

Saturday Night Live

Live from New York, it’s Saturday night! A staple of American television for over four decades now, Saturday Night Live is still managing to captivate audiences all over the country. As far as sketch comedies go, SNL is superior to any other. Many sketch comedy shows have appeared over the years, but none have managed to garner as much attention or critical acclaim as this one. Many celebrity careers began here, from Chevy Chase to Adam Sandler, to Will Ferrell, and Kristen Wiig, there are all kinds of household names who earned their fame during their duration on this show. All kinds of iconic sketches, such as “Van down by the River,” and “More cowbell,” are still making audiences laugh today. 18 seasons of SNL are available on Hulu today.

The Last Man on Earth

Taking place a world where almost everyone was wiped out by a virus, The Last Man on Earth tells the story of a small group of survivors doing their best to rebuild the world. When I saw the first episode of The Last Man on Earth, I wondered how it could possibly last. With only one character in the entire episode, it didn’t seem like it could last an entire season. Alas, the title of this show is deceiving. The Last Man on Earth is not actually the last man on Earth. Several more characters enter the show as the episodes and seasons go on, and every character is fantastic. The main character, Phil Miller, played by Will Forte, is a riot to watch. He’s often rude, annoying, and frankly idiotic, but he’s still so much fun to watch. There’s a layer of charm in the humor of this show that I haven’t found in any other show yet. It’s comedy gold. Seasons 1 through 3 are available on Hulu right now.

South Park

A long-running comedy series, South Park has pushed the limits and buttons of people everywhere. Rated MA for mature, South Park is not a cartoon for children. It’s definitely for adults, as it is full of sexual and politically incorrect humor. It tells the story of a few young boys at South Park Elementary School who get into trouble, crazy situations, and mischief whenever they possibly can. South Park has sparked controversy ever since it first began, but that hasn’t stopped it from airing some of the raciest television in history. Just don’t take anything personally, as every group in this show is mocked at some point. Take it for the comedy that it is, and you’ll be sure to enjoy it. Most seasons of South Park are available on Hulu.

Once Upon a Time

I remember when this show first began and I was blown away by all the appearances of classic beloved characters. I fell in love with this show almost immediately. It tells the story of a woman named Emma Swan who visits the town of Storybrooke, Maine. When she arrives, she realizes that it’s not just an ordinary town, but it’s a town full of fairytale characters who are real people. Many secrets are revealed and there are twists and turns in every episode. Action-packed, romance-packed, and drama-packed, Once Upon a Time has everything a fairytale lover could possibly want. Almost any character you can think of eventually makes an appearance, from Cinderella and Mulan, to Belle, Captain Hook, and Peter Pan. Also be prepared to watch the best villain on television, Rumplestiltskin. He is the highlight of the show and will keep you watching for as long as possible. Seasons 1 through 6 are available on Hulu now.

My Strange Addiction

My goodness, TLC never fails to give me amazing reality TV. My Strange Addiction is an addicting show. I watched an entire season in two days, and when I ran out of seasons to watch on Hulu, I was sad. There are only three seasons available on Hulu, and if you’re like me, you’ll go through all of them very quickly, as episodes are only 20 minutes long. My Strange Addiction showcases the strange addictions of various people all over the country, from a woman in love with a carnival ride, to a man who cannot stop pretending his pool inflatables are real people, there are all kinds of addictions shown. Some of the more gross ones, such as coffee enemas and sniffing pee-soaked diapers, are often hard to stomach, but nevertheless fascinating to watch. Rarely do people on this show actually overcome their addictions, even though they often visit doctors on the show who tell them to quit whatever they’re doing, so that aspect can be a bit disappointing, but overall, My Strange Addiction is mindless entertainment, a great show to watch while multi-tasking or if you’re bored.

Adventure Time

The kids show that adults everywhere fell in love with, Adventure Time is hilarious, fun, and packs ample amount of entertainment for audiences of all ages. Enter the world of Ooo, a magical land in a post-apocalyptic setting, inspired by role-playing games such as Dungeons and Dragons, and join Finn the Human and his best friend, Jake the Dog, on their many adventures. I love everything about this show, from its clever writing, to memorable and complex characters, to its beautiful art style. It’s so colorful, and that alone makes it stand out from many cartoons. It’s not a simple kids show, and in fact, it treats its targeted audience with a lot of respect, showing that children are capable of understanding and enjoying complex shows. So much creativity oozes into this show and its creators are incredibly talented. Seasons 1 through 7 are available on Hulu right now.

Seinfeld

Ask people what their favorite sitcom of all time is, and they’ll likely say one of two things: Seinfeld or Friends. Whether you’re a fan of one and not the other, or you love both, there’s no denying how popular these shows are and what a huge impact they made on culture. I personally prefer Seinfeld, because its characters feel easier to relate to. Who hasn’t felt like Jerry, George, Elaine, or even Kramer at some point? Seinfeld is a show about every day life and the struggles we all deal with. It’s a show that’s essentially about nothing, yet everything at the same time. Its lovable bunch of goofball characters made TV hilarious throughout the 90s, bringing us iconic lines like, “No soup for you,” and “Hello Newman,” as well as iconic moments such as the “double-dipping” scene. It’s shows like this that make me wish I lived in an apartment in a big city with neighbors who were all my friends. Wouldn’t it be so great to just pop over to your neighbor’s apartment and hang out whenever you felt like it? All seasons of Seinfeld are available on Hulu right now.
