Water this dandelion-inspired humidifier as you would water your plants!

Imagine dandelions dancing in the breeze in a lush meadow, their spores fluttering and flying about. This was the inspiration for Beom sic Jeon and Kim Hyunsoec’s Blow humidifier. You operate the humidifier as you would water and nurture your plants.

Blow comprises of a water bowl, forming the lower portion of the humidifier. It is transparent, allowing you to view the internal components of Blow. Whereas the upper portion is reminiscent of a long dandelion with its seed head at the top, full of spores. You pour water into the little bucket as if you were watering your potted plants. The lower portion of the humidifier functions like the roots of a plant, absorbing the water in the bowl. The water is then released as steam, from the opening or the seed head on the top.

Designed after the organic form of plants, Blow can add a soft, nurturing touch to any space it is added into, functioning not only as a home appliance but as a decorative piece as well. Its delicate and minimal aesthetics can add a touch of subtle beauty to brimming home spaces and hectic workplaces alike.

An Air Circulator that you Slide to Unlock!

slide_air_circulator_01

Air Circulators come in all sorts of shapes and sizes, but this one is a little different! The Slide has been inspired by the ‘Slide to Unlock’ command that, until relatively recently, most of us used every day.

In order to operate the device the user must interact with the top section and ‘slide’ it horizontally, this action causes the hemispherical upper section to elegantly adjust to a more efficient angle.

On the front of the cylindrical body there are four touch buttons that allow for intuitive operation, these same four buttons are repeated on a handheld remote that neatly, and rather satisfyingly, docks into the charging terminal.

Slide’s designers also recognized that an air circulator’s use is seasonal, so easy storage is a must! The body-colored cable conveniently wraps around a section underneath the main body, keeping everything neatly contained!

The remote control is compact size and can be operated with the same four buttons as the main body. The charging terminal was applied to the front of the remote control, and it was charged automatically when it was stored in the main body. In addition, we applied the LED indicator to the bottom so that the user can check the remaining battery level.

The front touch buttons are displayed with icons and are intuitive. The wind speed button and the timer button of the button can be turned on one by one, respectively, and the wind speed century and the timer time can be adjusted.

The main cable can be stored on the floor when the product is not in use, and the power supply plug can be stored in the main unit.

A Whale of a Computer

whale_computer_layout

Would you ever change your computer’s hard drive? What about replacing the graphic card? Many people would answer a resounding NO! For us, the idea of tinkering around in the CPU sounds like performing surgery with the potential for costly mistakes. Designed with this in mind, Whale is a CPU concept that aims to make the idea of upgrading your obsolete components less scary and intimidating.

Whale simplifies the CPU customization process for those unfamiliar with assembling computers by employing an intuitive module opening and closing structure. When the user wants to upgrade the computer, it can easily replace the graphic card, hard disk, RAM card and more by opening the pull-out module on the front part of the unit. With its soft aesthetic, it’s also as friendly-looking as it is user-friendly!

The Abracadabra Appliance!

fedora_toaster_1

Of all the kitchen appliances there are, the toaster is my favorite. The interaction we have with the toaster always has that element of surprise, and it’s amazing how your eyes sparkle as you see the toast jump out of those little slots. The Fedora toaster adds to that split-second magic by making it a product that’s just ethereal from start to end. Inspired by the Magician’s Hat, the toaster has an extended upper lip that just brings smiles to the faces of people once they get that reference. Plus, when the toast pops, it’s almost like having a rabbit jump out of the magician’s hat!
