The lamp was actually envisioned as the only lighting that actually works in tandem with the body’s ‘biorhythm’. Artificial light isn’t something the body is used to. The Caffeine Lamp allows you to switch between lighting modes that give your body and mind what it needs. The Caffeine’s outdoor mode gets it to mimic sunlight, allowing your eyes to adjust to natural settings. It also has a work and relax mode, that alternates between cooler and warmer light. Cool lighting tends to boost performance (the blue wavelength inhibits sleep), whereas warm light makes one feel relaxed and at ease. Simple buttons allow you to have full control over the Caffeine lamp, and effectively your well-being! Although you can still click some wicked selfies for Instagram if you wanted to!

If that still isn’t enough to get yourself going, here’s a new product that is in development that will make your morning easier: Power Energy Toothpaste. It has caffeine, so it wakes you up as you brush your teeth.

At last, no more dipping that loaded-with-toothpaste toothbrush into your coffee. It is always such a mess and it ruins the flavor. Entrepreneur Dan Meropol invented Power Energy Toothpaste it as a way to encourage people to brush more. Meropol thinks that a rush of caffeine will reward users for brushing their teeth in the morning.

Maybe he’s right, but I would rather get my caffeine the old way. Besides, drinking it is actually part of people’s morning ritual. Still, if you’d like to add a little boost to your brushing routine, you can get a tube by pledging at least $15(USD) over on Indiegogo.

Need a dose of caffeine without the bitterness? Most energy drinks have an aftertaste that makes some people nauseous, and if you’re not a fan of coffee, then you’re left with few alternatives. What you need at this point is CaffeinAll. It’s basically powdered caffeine that you can sprinkle all over your food and into soups and drinks so you can get that extra kick while you’re in the middle of a particularly long and tiring day.

CaffeinAll is being marketed as an affordable alternative to typical sources of caffeine. Vessyl Smart Glass Tracks Caffeine and Calories You Drink

I think we all know at least one person who is constantly drinking coffee. I’m convinced some of the people I know are only alive because of all the caffeine in their system. A new smart glass has been unveiled called Vessyl that will track how much caffeine you are taking in along with calories and your hydration level.

The smart glass is called the Vessyl and it has sensors inside. Those sensors know what you put into the cup and will sync data to an app on your smartphone. The idea is that you can accurately track how many calories and how much caffeine you are getting without resorting to reading labels.

Vessyl also has a proprietary measurement of hydration it checks called Pryme. Lights on the cup will tell you if the drink you are getting ready to partake in will hurt or help your hydration levels. It’s unclear how many types of liquids the cup can identify. Vessyl can be pre-ordered now for $99 with deliveries set for early 2015.
