Everyone who’s trying to lose weight or to stay fit knows that a good scale is an important part of keeping on track. This isn’t the first high-tech scale that I’ve come across, but it sure looks futuristic, kind of like a transporter pad from Star Trek, probably a way to entice to actually step onto it rather than not.
The Medisana TargetScale will determine weight, body mass index, body fat, water percentages, muscle and bone mass for up to four users. It comes with an active matrix screen, surrounded by glowing rings that light up like a disc from TRON. The rings are supposed to let you see how far or how close you are to your ideal weight. The scale comes equipped with Bluetooth technology so that it can pair up with the VitaDock app you can run on your iPhone.
