Watch a Camera Dissolve in Acetone Fumes

Tune in and watch this video from YouTube channel Amazing Timelapse and watch an old Konica camera as it dissolves from acetone fumes. What’s amazing is that it’s not even in the acid itself, it’s just above it. It just melts like butter. Butter that would dissolve you from the inside if you ate it.

The gradual, 25-hour process was digested down to just 3 minutes, thanks to the miracle of time-lapse photography. It is actually very relaxing to watch.

Those are some powerful fumes. That camera looks like that Nazi at the end of Raiders of the Lost Ark. I like to imagine that this is the camera he used to take a picture of the ark, and it melted with his face because God doesn’t want you to see inside the ark.

Watch a LEGO Helicopter Melt Before Your Eyes

Oh the glorious joy of watching objects melt. My inner pyro thanks you, Internet. YouTube channel Let’s Melt This has created a new melting video, in which they turned a LEGO Chopper Transporter set into some toasty LEGO S’mores.

This LEGO helicopter will never fly again after meeting their searing hot blowtorch; not that it ever flew in the first place. There’s something satisfying about watching LEGO burn. Is it wrong that we enjoy videos like this? Don’t care. It’s fun. Someone really needs to build a whole LEGO city and burn it to the ground so that I can watch.

Does that mean I need therapy? No, I’m fine really. Someone please make that video. Burn it! Burn it all down! I’m fine.

Watching This PS3 Melt Is Oddly Soothing

What to do with that old PS3 that is collecting dust? You could give it to a friend, sell it, use it as a doorstop, or burn that sucker and watch in amazement as it melts before your eyes.

That’s what YouTube channel Let’s Melt This recently did. They burned a PS3 console and through some very clever and well done editing, the footage is absolutely mesmerizing. Beautiful. Even soothing. These guys know how to make destruction look seductive.

Just don’t try this at home, kids. I don’t care if all of the cool new gadgets are doing it. You know the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 isn’t supposed to do that right?
