Fluxbag Will Blow up your Inflatable Gear Fast

There is so much cool inflatable gear out there, but I think many keep their distance from these items because they want to avoid the hassle of blowing them up. Well, the Fluxbag makes it easy to blow up inflatables and fast too.

It is designed as a more efficient way to pump air into inflatable products. It’s a bag that can be inflated using the Bernoulli effect, allowing it to fill up with air with just a single puff. Once it’s filled, you just close the bag to trap the air, then transfer that air to any beach ball, pool float, or other inflatable gear. It is a simple and ingenius solution.

It comes with three exit nozzles of varying sizes, allowing you to find the right size to fit the valve on most inflatables. When not in use, the whole thing can fold into a tiny pouch that fits in your pocket.

A pledge of at least $21(USD) over on Kickstarter will get you a Fluxbag of your very own.

A Caffeine blast from the past

coffee_robot_1

Since the meteoric rise of instant coffee, people haven’t quite brewed coffee the old-fashioned way in a while. And no, an automated espresso machine using ground coffee isn’t really the old-fashioned way either. The folks at Continuum decided that maybe it was time to bring the Ye Olde style of brewing coffee back. The Crema Coffee Robot 1986, a result of that endeavour, is a coffee pump with an aesthetic that reminds me of Alessi’s old days.

The process is super simple. Raise the piston to expose the filter chamber. Place the coffee grounds in said filter chamber. Next, fill the upper reservoir with piping hot water and clamp down. Lower the lever so that the water is pushed through the ground coffee. Don’t forget to put your cup underneath to gather the espresso, or you’ll be in a steamy mess!

The Crema Coffee Robot 1986 won a Red Dot Award for the year 2015.

Cycle + Air Pump

Inflator Bicycle is a cycle design where the frame of the bike acts as an inflator for cycle tire. This “always with you” bicycle pump is designed by putting inside the frame a connecting bar and a piston. You can pump in air to the tire by simply moving the bicycle seat up and down. The pipe and the gas nozzle hooks onto the cycle frame and it inflates both, the back wheel and the front wheel.

Easy Air Pump

Hand-held air pumps to inflate flat bicycle tires can be a pain, so to make it easy on you; we have here the Air Pot. This is a micro electric compressor for bicycle to inflate air into the tire. Actually you can even use it on wheelchairs. The device is portable, rechargeable and with capabilities to set air pressure accurately. I love the retractable cord feature, which adds in a definitive spunk to the concept.

Bike Pumps Can Be Sexy Too

Designer Esben Bonde describes the Bike Pump Deluxe as being a stylish looking tool and nothing more, but we think he’s just being modest! Much smaller than the average pump, it’s super-easy to carry around for unexpected flats. With rubber grips and an internal locking mechanism it’s also just as easy to use. Copper detail in the spring and nozzle give this elegant design instant recognizability.
