Star Wars Card Trader App: Your Lack of Gum Is Disturbing
For anyone who grew up with the original Star Wars trading cards, this new app available on Apple’s App Store right now, will be a blast from the past. Topps has just released the Star Wars: Card Trader app which chronicles the classic Star Wars card archives from all the way back to 1977. It also has some brand new Force Awakens cards.
They are all digital of course, so forget putting them in your bicycle spokes or enjoying the stale gum in every pack. Now you can collect and trade with your friends just like the old days, but by using your iPhone. The app is designed to simulate the opening up a real, physical pack of cards.
It is also built for trading, so you can tell everyone what cards you’re looking for, start trades, and even negotiate new terms in your trade. It also have animations that let you know when you have found a rare card. Topps really did a fine job with this app. You can download the app here.
