Pikachu + Chewbacca = Pikachewie

Given all of the things that Disney has purchased over the years, we’re surprised they have yet to buy Nintendo or at least the Pokémon franchise. If they did, they’d probably create some crazy Star Wars / Pokémon mashup merch. For now, we’ve got fans to make us some cool toys instead.

What you’re looking at here is what would happen in the unlikely event that Chewbacca and a Pikachu had a child. Isn’t Pikachewie is adorable? I mean not as cute as Baby Yoda, but he’d give Baby Groot a run for his money for sure. This fun mashup figure comes from custom toy maker Kody Koala, whose Etsy shop is loaded with weird and wonderful creations, like a buff version of the Domino’s Pizza Noid, a pudgy Sonic the Hedgehog, and Waluigi in a mech suit.

Pikachewie measures about 3.5″ tall and is made from cast resin with custom paint to give him his cherubic red cheeks. So trainers, get out your Poké Balls now and head over to Etsy, where you can catch this little guy for just $19. Just don’t make him mad or he might try and rip your other figures arms off.

Princess Peach Wrecking Ball Diorama: Chain Chomp Cyrus

Princess Peach is on a wrecking ball, and ready to tear down the walls of Mushroom Kingdom. Miley who? Peach is much classier, even though she is nearly as scantily clad as Miley was. And Chain Chomps beat wrecking balls any day.

This awesome pop culture inspired piece comes from Donald Kennedy, aka Kody Koala. The whole thing stands about 8 inches-tall. So how did he get the usually pure Princess to take her clothes off and go for a ride on Chain Chomp? Easy. He used an anime figure for the body and added a custom head for Princess Peach.

If you want it, (and who wouldn’t?) you can win it in a contest. Get the details here. Say, how do you safely get off of a Chain Chomp anyway?

Zombie Game Boy Color: the Button Mashing Dead

We’ve all seen what could happen if humans became zombies, but what if your old Nintendo Game Boy Color returned from the dead as a zombie? The results are more cute than horrifying.

Zombie Gameboy Color

I’m not sure how you would stop a horde of zombie Game Boy Colors, but thankfully things haven’t reached plague proportions yet. This zombie handheld was created by Kody Koala, who knows how to make awesomely gory sculptures. He had already made some Game Boy zombies and wanted to see what a Game Boy Color would be like.

He used hands from a Cletus robot and feet from a Minion from Megamind. The end result is a fun Nintendo zombie ready to devour your old game cartridges instead of brains.
