The name of the ring doesn’t really leave much to the imagination. What you get here is basically what its name says you’ll get: a ring with a miniature aquarium on it. Though you won’t find any fish swimming around in this tiny habitat.

Inside, you’ll find a ball of Cladophora algae that you’ll have to grow and take care of. If you don’t have much of a green thumb, don’t worry, because a marimo ball isn’t so hard to care for.

All they need is normal household lighting for them to make food, otherwise, indirect sunlight is fine. You should turn them over once in a while for them to keep their round shape.

It might eventually grow too big for your ring, but that’s a problem for another day.
