The Razer Naga Pro mouse comes with swappable shortcut-modules that let you easily customize it!

The guys at Razer strongly believe that a tech company shouldn’t dictate how you use their products. Products should serve their users, not the other way around, right?

Designed to customize based on your needs and applications, the Razer Naga Pro wireless mouse comes with 3 swappable key-modules to choose from. With 2, 6, and 12 keys, the modules attach on the left side of the mouse, right where your thumb would sit. The keys on the modules can easily be programmed to resemble keystrokes, trigger programs, commands, or even shortcuts, making it easy to play games, work with editing software, or just boost your productivity.

Apart from the swappable key-modules, the Naga Pro even comes with up to 8 buttons on its upper surface, giving you a total of 20 completely programmable buttons and a scroll wheel. The mouse boasts of an improved optical sensor with an industry-leading 20,000 DPI and 99.6% resolution accuracy, ensuring that even the finest of movements is tracked and registered with consistency. Even the keys on top are outfitted with optical switches with a response time of as little as 0.2 milliseconds, making sure whether you’re gaming or working, the mouse’s every movement executes as fast as your mind does. It does help that the Naga Pro comes with an incredible 150-hour battery life too, and a nifty charging dock to place it on when you’re not using it.

Razer revamps Naga MMO mouse with mechanical switches, left-handed model

Razer updates Naga MMO mouse

If you spend hours immersed in MMO raids, you likely value anything that helps you click faster. It's a good thing that Razer has just overhauled its Naga mouse, then. The 2014 model year now uses mechanical switches for its signature 12 side buttons, offering clearer feedback with each press. There's also a new tilting scroll wheel, in-game customization software and a tweaked grip that should fit a wider selection of hands. That includes left hands, we'd add -- Razer is shipping its promised left-handed Naga alongside the regular model. No matter your input preferences, you can buy the new RPG-friendly mouse today for $80.

Logitech G600 mouse targets button-craving MMO gamers, social life costs extra (video)

Logitech G600 mouse targets buttoncraving MMO gamers, social life comes extra video

If you thought that Logitech was just going to let Razer's Naga MMO mouse go unanswered, you've got another thing coming. The G600 MMO Gaming Mouse matches the Naga's 12 side-mounted buttons and one-ups the rival across the aisle with a toggle that gives each key a second function -- if you can't bind it to a mouse button, odds are that it doesn't belong there. Just in case the prospect of spending an evening programming a mouse isn't all that enticing, the G600 has three profiles right from the start, two for online role-playing and one for when you'd rather play a Call of Duty shooter instead. Of course, the laser tracking and USB response times are fast enough to keep up when you pull aggro from monsters. Gamers willing to wait until July can drop $80 for a G600 in black or white, although we'd also set aside the costs of stepping outside every now and then.

Razer Naga MMO mouse gets some work done, fresh for 2012

Razer Naga MMO mouse gets work done for 2012

It's fair to say we admire the Razer Naga MMO 'round these parts -- as much for its thumb-thrashing controls, as for its democratic diplomacy. Now the original is back, and updated for 2012. What's new? Well, there's a redesigned anti-slip, fingerprint-fighting finish, three interchangeable side panels and a re-optimized button placement. It's all designed to stop your fevered swipes from landing your mouse on the other side of the LAN, and help fend off a dreaded bout of "Warfare-wrist". Reckon you deserve an upgrade? US and EU gamers can get their $80 dollar-laden hand on it now, and the rest of the realm later in Q2.

Razer Naga Hex mouse gets Wraith Red edition for manic Diablo III clicking

ImageRazer looks to be the latest getting into the Diablo III-themed peripheral game with a special version of the Naga Hex, even if it won't mention the click-and-slash title by name. The Wraith Red edition keeps the same six mechanically-driven side buttons as the original, but drapes the top shell and lights in an infernal red. It's otherwise functionally similar to the Razer-green Naga Hex we had mixed feelings about last month. Gamers who like what it offers don't have to wait for Blizzard's action role-playing game to show, as it's shipping now in the US for $80 and should be ready for the rest of the world by the end of the spring.

Razer confirms plans to release left-handed Naga gaming mouse

Image
It promised that it would do so if it received enough Likes on Facebook, and now Razer has confirmed that it is indeed proceeding with plans to release a left-handed version of its Naga gaming mouse. That comes after it received the required 10,000 Likes in less than a week -- a full three weeks ahead of its April 21st deadline. Unfortunately, there's no indication of a release date just yet, but you can rest assured that the MMO-focused mouse will be otherwise identical to its right-handed counterpart. The complete specs can be found in the press release after the break.
