Facebook has a cure for your broken heart: more Facebook

Your best friend, Facebook — you know the one who toyed with your emotions for personal gain; repeatedly brought up moments you'd rather forget; and refused to call you by your chosen name for, like, ever — really wants to help you get...

ForeverNOT Lets You Put a Wager On People’s Relationships

ForeverNot App0

ForeverNOT is one of those cruel but fun apps that you’ll probably still get because of the entertainment factor. Not only does it ask you to judge on whether or not relationships between certain friends will work out, but it also asks you to bet on them as well. In this day and age where some people trader partners and get into X+3 relationships in X months, it kind of makes sense (and justifies your usage of the app, especially when they call you up in the middle of the night to say “I think he’s the one!” after only three weeks of dating.)

If you’re not too keen to put your friends up on the pedestal, then you can always weigh in on celebrity couplings, with one of the most-talked about pairings right now being Kim K and Kanye West.

How many months (or years) would you give them? You can cast your vote and upload couples you want to root for (or diss) on ForeverNOT. The app can be downloaded here.

ForeverNOT Lets You Place Bets on Relationships

You know someone gets into a relationship, and you think to yourself that there’s no way it’s going to last? It’s cruel, but not as cruel as actually saying it out loud and betting on it. But that’s exactly what ForeverNOT wants you to do.

It’s a new app that lets users anonymously bet on whether or not their friends’ relationships will last. If you’re not one to judge your friends or their relationships, then perhaps you might be more comfortable with passing judgement on celebrity couplings, like Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, for instance.

The app itself is simple enough to use: just hit F for ‘Forever’ and N for ‘Not’ when the couple’s page is brought up. It then displays the overall odds that the relationship will last.

Guitar-Shaped Forest is a Man’s Tribute to His Departed Wife

Love can make people do crazy things. It can also inspire, encourage, and push people to go out of their way to come up with something they can dedicate to the person they love.

It was love that pushed Argentinian Pedro Ureta to plant a guitar-shaped forest. His wife Graciela was a huge nature buff and often talked about working on a similar project before she passed away at the age of just 25.

Guitar Shaped Forest
So Pedro took it upon himself to work on the guitar forest that his wife didn’t have a chance to grow. It’s been a couple of years since Pedro embarked on his grand labor of love, and the results of his hard work are finally coming to fruition.

Pedro planted blue eucalyptus trees for the neck of the guitar, while cypress trees outline the body, the bridge, and the sound hole. All told, he planted about 7000 trees. Pretty awesome, don’t you think?

Facebook and Walmart to ‘deepen’ involvement, won’t rollback FarmVille prices just yet

Facebook Credits at Walmart

The involvement between Facebook and Walmart is about to get a lot cozier than gift cards in aisle three. Facebook says it wants to "deepen" its connection to Walmart and hopes to learn from the big-box retailer's skill in building a long-term business; that's rather important when the social network is still young enough for the ink to be wet on shares from its initial public offering. To that end, Facebook's entire executive team will meet with Walmart at its Arkansas headquarters on July 20th in the hopes the two companies will be singing kumbaya when all is said and done. Knowing that both companies have taken a bruising in their public images from time to time, we can understand why some might be apprehensive about the idea of any tighter collaboration -- not until they can buy FarmVille harvests for 88 cents, at least.
