Door Sensor Plays the Seinfeld Bass Riff When Someone Enters the Room

There’s nothing quite like that funky Seinfeld theme song bass riff. It’s powerful and gets stuck in your head almost instantly. When you think about a scene from the show, you can’t help but hear it. I bet you hear it right now that I mentioned it.

A guy going by the name Caliixx incorporated a bit of the music into a door sensor that plays a riff whenever someone opens the door. Perfect!

It was built using an infrared sensor, an Arduino controller, and the Adafruit Music Maker Shield. It basically turns real life into a sitcom – which I fully approve of.

This is the perfect thing if you have a neighbor named Kramer who always comes barging in and practically falls down on the way to raid your fridge.

Jerry Seinfeld’s Apartment Recreated in Doom 2

Seinfeld was a classic sitcom that endures to this day, largely because the humor was so different. Everyone knows this show. I would say that almost everyone knows what Jerry’s apartment looked like too. Well, someone recreated that apartment in Doom 2 and it is glorious.

If you have ever wanted to walk around Jerry’s apartment, killing all of your favorite characters, Doug Keener has done just that. It is pretty awesome and the little sound clips make it perfect. You might say that it is even sponge worthy. You can get in on the action yourself too.

I guarantee that you will get a laugh out of this fun demo mod.

This Aquarium Is in an Old TV, Looks Like Seinfeld’s Apartment

Remember those old TVs that were actual pieces of furniture in their own right? Well, no one is using those TVs anymore, so they are being sold for cheap since everyone has flat screens today. Matt Davidson got a hold of one of these old TVs and decided to do something creative with it.

He used the old TV cabinet to enclose an aquarium, but that’s not all. If you are going to have a TV aquarium, it might as well look like it has something playing on the screen. So Matt made it exactly like Jerry Seinfeld’s apartment from the classic TV show Seinfeld!

Of course, the fish are named Jerry, George, Elaine, Kramer, and Newman. Newman. Apparently it only took a few hours of work, but he spread it out over a period of a couple of years. If you want to make one, you can see a step-by-step guide at Awesomeness Projects. It’s an aquarium about nothing.
