TP-Link has introduced a new tri-band WiFi 802.11ac router ‘Archer C5400X’ to its line-up. Powered by a 1.8GHz quad-core 64-bit processor coupled with a 1GB RAM, the Archer C5400X operates at a combined speed of up to 5334Mbps, with two 5GHz bands that reach up to 2167Mbps each and one 2.4GHz band that reaches up to 1000Mbps.

Equipped with eight external antennas (w/ MU-MIMO technology), the Archer C5400X is built with 8x Gigabit Ethernet ports to enable super-fast connections with other wired devices and 2x USB 3.0 ports to easily share printers, files and media within the network.

The TP-Link Archer C5400X is scheduled to hit the market from April for 50,000 Yen (about $460). [TP-Link]
