Star Wars Millenium Falcon Cake Pan: You Bake in That Thing? You’re Braver than I Thought

Smuggle yummy pastries into your belly with the officially-licensed Millenium Falcon cake pan. The silicone mold measures 10¾” x 14″ x 2¼, so there’ll be enough for you and your co-pilot.

Amazon priced it at $60 (USD), though it’s out of stock there as of this writing. UK store Lakeland has it for £16 (~$26 USD), though after shipping it should set you back around $60 as well.

Mario Mushroom Cake Pan Cooks ‘Shrooms That Make You Grow

If you grew up in the ’80s playing the original Super Mario Bros. game on the Nintendo, you will know that gobbling the right mushrooms can make plumbers turn into a giant. ThinkGeek has a new cake pan that lets you cook your own video game mushrooms, and they too will make you grow if you eat too many. Sadly, the growth will be in circumference rather than height like the power-up ‘shrooms did for Mario.

The pan makes a quartet of 3″ diameter cup cakes. As you can see the tops of the mushroom cakes and the stems are in separate areas of the cake pan, to help ensure they come out perfectly. Whether you end up with 1up mushrooms or power-up mushrooms is all in the frosting your choose.

If baking your own Mario mushrooms isn’t enough for you, how about some LEGO brownies?

The LEGO brownie pan makes four small 2″ x 2″ cakes.  Sadly, the LEGO brownies lack indentions on the bottom so you can’t really build with these treats.

The Mushroom pan sells for $9.99(USD) and the LEGO pan is the same price. These will go perfect with your D-20 cake pan.

Playful Bakeware

The Flexy series of cake pans offer a unique twist on the generic round a square bakeware you can find in any grocery store. Mold each one to your liking for a more personal touch that will stand out from the rest. Designer Simon Michel states that the bakeware is composed of food-safe plastic, but that might need a lil tweaking considering the material’s low melting point. Other than that, it’s an interesting idea for designer-cooking at home!
