I went camping this weekend and would have killed for this! There’s nothing quite like waking up and enjoying a fresh cup of coffee or espresso while you take in the natural scenery… and now that’s easier than ever. It’s called the MiniPresso and it makes it possible to satisfy those caffeine cravings from places you never thought possible!
Super-lightweight and compact, it’s easily stowed in any backpack or bag. Simply load it up with any Nespresso pod or preload your favorite grinds, add hot water, and aim for your mug or thermos! Better yet, it’s hand-operated and doesn’t require any batteries or electricity, meaning as long as you’ve got hot water, you’ve got fresh espresso!
Ah, coffee… what would the world be without it? It is, in fact the world’s fourth popular beverage with more than half a trillion cups being consumed every year. Yes, you read that right. Half a trillion cups…
So what if I told you you could carry your coffee-maker with you everywhere you went? No more of that instant coffee nonsense, or the insipid coffee you call Starbucks. I’m talking about your own espresso maker, in an avatar that’s about as portable as a mini-umbrella.
The Handpresso is literally the size of a deodorant can and can be carried everywhere you go. It uses no electricity and all you really need is hot water and your favorite coffee (powder or pod). The Handpresso has a pump integrated into its design with an in-built pressure gauge. All you do is pump it up till the gauge reads 16 bar pressure. Fill the reservoir with hot water, and top-off the coffee cartridge either with fresh coffee grounds or your standard E.S.E Pod. Once you’ve put the cartridge back into the Handpresso, simply lock it in place before hitting the pressure release button. The pressure pushes the water through the coffee and out of the nozzle, giving you one cup of freshly brewed espresso, made right in front of your eyes!
The Handpresso is literally the most portable espresso-maker yet. It easily fits into all bags, uses no electricity, and brews the coffee of your choice. Yes, we’ve ordered one for ourselves! #halfatrillionclub
Have you seen a Keurig? Or any electric coffee machine for that matter? They’re hulking! And for what?! A cup of coffee?? Ridiculous! I get that coffee needs to be brewed to perfection, and oh, I’m not body shaming coffee machines, but if all you have to do is enable percolation… please be sleek! Look at Tavo for that matter. It’s simple to use, it brews the coffee using the traditional method, it comes in a sexy satin black, and DAMN is it slim! With a diameter of less than half a foot, the Tavo may be sleek so that it fits into homes with less counter-space, but its sleekness should be appreciated on a universal level. Plus, it brews coffee at the push of a button… so that’s a clear win!
Wonsang Lee’s twist on the espresso machine appears ultra-modern, but takes inspiration from traditional Korean houses which are often designed to focus on exposure to outdoor landscaping. Like the traditional homes, the center of this design is where all the magic happens. Its open midsection is not only aesthetically unique, but an intuitive signal for where the user should place their mug.
