It’s never too early or too late to indoctrinate your cat into loving the things that you love. Like Star Wars. You could always buy your cat a neat Star Wars blanket, or a costume, but they really appreciate beds that look like Star Wars vehicles.

Roxy’s Dream makes custom pet furniture, usually the geeky kind. So they know a thing or two about pleasing geeky cats. In fact, the company is named for the owner’s late cat, Roxy. This awesome cat bed is their work. It looks just like a well used landspeeder.

You can put your own droids in back or if you have other cats, they can all go for a ride. You can see some build photos here. The company says that Padmé the cat only took 10 minutes to settle into her new comfy bed.

If you’re trying to open a bottle maybe you can “use the Force”. Sorry, had to say it. No need to exert yourself, Jedi, when you have this handy Star Wars Landspeeder Bottle Opener. Looking for bottle openers in Alderaan places? It’s always on your fridge thanks to a magnetic back. Made of solid metal, just like R2-D2 (but less sass). It’s not in the movie but you just kinda know that ol’ Uncle Owen was using excess water from the family moisture farm to bottle up some intergalactic beer. And this is how he would open them. Common knowledge. Pre-order now, but this bottle opener won’t be ready till early 2015, so it looks like another lonely Christmas in the galaxy.

Pink LEGO Landspeeder: These Aren’t the Puppy Dogs You’re Looking for

Have you ever wondered what a Star Wars LEGO set for girls might look like? Tyler Sky has the answer. He created this fun mashup.

Obviously if you are going to have a girly looking Star Wars LEGO set, it has to include a pink landspeeder. Obviously. It also has to include cute little animals and some stormtroopers who are just kids wearing helmets that are too big for their heads.

The question is, will they be able to sell it in that color in order to get off the planet? That might be tough on Tatooine, unless they want to wait around a few weeks for a reply to the ad they took out in the Mos Eisley Trader.

Enjoy the fruits of your moisture farming labor when you set sail aboard this Star Wars Landspeeder Pool Float from Intex. Be like Luke Poolwalker as you float across the high seas of your backyard. When the Summer feels as hot as Tattooine, get in the pool and cool off before Uncle Owen calls you back inside. Just like in Star Wars, this landspeeder floats- except on water instead of land. Close enough.

This cool pool toy measures 70″ x 55″, which is (unfortunately) probably not quite big enough for an adult to fit inside. But then again that never stopped you from trying to squeeze into something designed for kids, right? Unfortunately this raft is out of production, so it’s listed on the secondary markets below at **uhm** inflated prices (inflated!) if it’s even available. I still want one.

Guy Builds Star Wars X-34 Landspeeder for Son

Instructables member blogsdo is a pretty awesome guy. He made this “quick and dirty” Landspeeder X-34 for his son’s 6th birthday party. He used a chassis from a pedal powered Original Kettcar and built the frame around it.

He did a pretty awesome job if you ask me. I like that he used flower pots for the engines. Hey, whatever you have handy is fair game as far as I’m concerned. The important thing is that the kids at that party had a lot of fun and now all want this guy for a dad. They’ve probably started calling his house Mos Eisley.

How cool would it be to ride this Landspeeder around the neighborhood on Halloween?

If you want your kid to have the Star Wars experience, start them at an early age. Make them a landspeeder stroller and push them around while you go shopping.

In the image it is being used to haul some bags, but there is some lucky kid that gets to ride in this thing. It’s one of the best first sets of wheels a kid can have. It’s all downhill from there. He or she is going to want an X-Wing or a Millenium Falcon for his 16th birthday.

This stroller was spotted at Denver Comic Con. Of course. You have never seen such a wretched hive of geeks and nerdery.

Aluminum Signs Commemorate Star Wars Ships

You know how they have the building plaques on some ships to commemorate their construction? Every Star Trek ship has one on the bridge too. Well, even though the Star Wars ships never had these, you can buy them from Big Bay Toy Store.

They’re printed on brushed aluminum, with a black box backing for hanging and a certificate of authenticity. It’s a great way to pretend that your office or living room is a Star Wars ship, even though it doesn’t look like one. Choose from the Millennium Falcon, the X-34 Landspeeder, or the T-65 X-Wing Starfighter.

Each plate is limited to 295 pieces and is available for pre-order now. They will cost you a crazy $264.99(USD) each, but they do look pretty awesome. Serious Star Wars fans will want at least one.
