Pate-keetongu worked on and off for nearly two years to build LEGO miniatures of Thorin Oakenshield and his companions in his journey to take back Erebor. As with great LEGO builds, these dwarven dwarves – plus a hobbit and a maia– are bursting with details, especially their beards.
I like that Pate-keetongu used wide variety of LEGO parts for the beards. Gloin even has fried chickens for a beard!

We don’t know about you, but usually when we have a book, we just read them. Seems that’s not the …We love books like The Hobbit because they really come alive in our hands. In this case, the book really comes alive with a fearsome paper Smaug leaping out from the pages.
Thankfully he can’t burn you, but he is dangerous. Just think about all of the papercuts this guy could give you. This fantastic work of art was created by DeviantArtist FarTooManyIdeas. The sculpture itself is amazing, but the fact that it is springing forth from The Hobbit book, just puts the icing on the cake.
