DC Superhero Wedding Bands: Say I Do to Superpowers

Because you can’t even get married today without getting superheroes involved, ring maker Manly Bands has teamed up with DC Comics to produce The DC Collection, a line of superhero-themed wedding bands. Currently available rings include The Wonder Woman, The Superman, The Bruce Wayne, The Joker, The Flash, and The Aquaman. That’s one for each finger if you have six fingers like the man who killed Inigo Montoya’s father! Details about each ring are below.

  • The Wonder Woman, $995: Cobalt Chrome with 1mm 14K Yellow Gold Inlay, .5mm Blue Cerakote Inlays, Red Cerakote Sleeve, and Wonder Woman Logo Engraving
  • The Superman, $595: Cobalt Chrome with 2mm Blue Cerakote Inlay, Red Cerakote Sleeve, and Superman Logo Engraving
  • The Bruce Wayne, $2,395: Black Zirconium (charcoal gray color) with .02 Black Diamonds and Batman Logo Engraving
  • The Joker, $995: Black Zirconium (charcoal gray color) with 3mm Damascus Steel Inlay, 1mm Green Cerakote Inlays, Purple Cerakote Sleeve, and Joker Laugh Engraving
  • The Flash, $2,195: Black Zirconium (charcoal gray color) with 1mm Asymmetrical Red Cerakote Inlay, Solid 14K Yellow Gold Sleeve, and Flash Logo Engraving
  • The Aquaman, $795: Black Zirconium (charcoal gray color) with 3mm Abalone Shell Inlay, Green Cerakote Sleeve, and Aquaman Logo Engraving

So, which is your favorite? I thought they were all pretty cool, but I’m really holding out for a Swamp Thing band made out of green organic matter! How cool would that be? I just feel like no other superhero quite captures my essence than a monster who lives in a swamp and doesn’t want people messing with it. My wife, I tell you — she’s one lucky lady for sure.

Ahh geek love. When a pair of Star Wars super fans get married surely you cannot expect them to go with boring old plain metal rings. No, they must proclaim both their love for each other and their love for the epic trilogy simultaneously. And the way to do it is with these R2-D2 and C-3PO wedding rings from Juan Hidalgo. They actually look like they’d almost pass for regular rings. Somehow the groom gets to be R2 though? Pretty cool. (via)

A Few Cool Wedding Rings

Who ever said that wedding rings need to be boring or frilly? Or *gasp* non-functional? Easy there Ron Swanson, check out this trio of cool rings we found that have some attitude. They’re like the Fonz of rings (outdated reference? sorry, referencing the Fonz will never jump the shark). Left to right above, you’ve got the titanium Piston Ring:

Flick the little thumbwheel and the piston actually moves back and forth. I guess this one is for “car guys” and the mechanically inclined. Also people who feel the need to endlessly fidget with something. Next up is the Camera Lens Ring:

The lens ring is made of black zirconium and is for the photographer. No not the photographer of the wedding, the groom who is a photographer. Although it would make a nice gift for your photographer too. That was confusing. Less confusing is the AF and MF switches and realistic looking markings on this ring. Remember to let the pros take your pictures at your own wedding- no selfies. Lastly is the Multitool Ring:

This titanium ring actually works! Just like a regular multi-tool but much smaller. It’s got a comb, bottle opener, straight blade, serrated blade and a small saw. I don’t think you can build a house with this ring but anyone getting this ring is probably so manly that they already build their own house anyway. So there you have it, wedding rings for dudes- they don’t have to be so boring and unmanly.

Zelda Wedding Rings Remind Gamers That They Shouldn’t Go Through Life Alone

Zelda Wedding Rings

The world is a dangerous place. We all know that. But it gets infinitely dangerous without the right person by your side. If you and your partner happen to be gamers, then you might want to check out these awesome Zelda-themed wedding rings by Zsolt Székely.

The design is simple, classy, and elegant. Those who aren’t familiar with the game might think that the Triforce featured prominently is just some random design, but obviously gamers will know better.

The best part about these rings, though, is the inscription, which reads: “It’s dangerous to go through life alone.” It’s obviously a play on one of the most-uttered lines from the Zelda series and they couldn’t have said it better.
