Make Your Own Star Wars Gummies by Melting Gummy Bears

Star Wars already has a ton of great merchandise. There have even been a bunch of Star Wars themed candies over the years, but I don’t think they have ever released any Star Wars Gummies. This can only mean one thing. We have to make them ourselves if we want them. As usual, the internet will tell you how.

Grant “The King of Random” Thompson demonstrates how to make these awesome Star Wars gummies by meliting gummy bears. It couldn’t be easier. You melt them in the microwave, pour the molten gummy juice into some Star Wars ice cube molds, then put them in the fridge to cool. Just like that you have some Star Wars gummies. Then, eat them all up as you see fit.

Now I’m hungry. I think I’ll go melt some gummy bears.

This Hippie Van Holds Your Drinks, Keeps Them Cool

vw_camper_van_cooler_1

Back in the days when Volkswagen wasn’t embroiled in an emissions scandal, they made cars everyone wanted to own. The Westfalia became an iconic representation of the 1960’s hippy culture, and it lives on in many people’s hearts as a throwback to a simpler time when music sounded better and Kim Kardashian didn’t exist. Even though the company doesn’t make them anymore, you can still get one in the form of the Volkswagen Panel Van Cooler, a large, wheeled cooler for drinks.

It faithfully reproduces the same trim details of an early Samba model that became an iconic symbol of the free-spirited 1960s, including the original’s eight panoramic roof windows, fabric sunroof, and two-colored paint scheme. An overhanging “hat” (that previously shielded a driver’s eyes from the sun) runs around the cooler’s entire top, providing an easy grip for retrieving one’s preferred beverage from a spacious interior with 3/4″ of insulation that holds up to 24 16-oz. bottles and ice. Made from pressed steel, the cooler has a telescoping 24″-long handle pulls the cooler along on its 8″-diameter rubber tires, allowing you to steer the cooler’s front wheels into just the right spot next to a lawn blanket. Integrated drain hole in the rear.

This cooler is as much of a statement as it is a practical way to keep your beverages cold. But all the attention to detail, and quality craftsmanship means it’s not cheap: $500.
