Snaptastic!

Can you see what’s missing from this modern clothespin? No metal spring! It’s called the Snapper and its genius lies in the POM nylon-related material and its unique die cast assembly method. Unlike primitive clothespins with two pins and a metal spring, the Snapper’s tensile rebound structure is created during the moulding process. This means manufacturing is completely automated with no need for human assembly!

LittleBun Clothespin Dolls: Stick a Pin in ‘Em, They’re Fun

Etsy is home to all sorts of fun, cute and geeky handmade stuff, and these creations by Little Bun satisfy all three of those criteria in spades. She makes little people and characters based on pop culture figures using clothespins as their bodies.

There are tons of great designs up in her shop, but my personal favorites have to be the Bob Ross doll (and his happy little trees), as well as the Sheldon Cooper Big Bang Theory doll, complete with Flash t-shirt. That said, the one with Walter (John Goodman) from The Big Lebowski is pretty sweet too. And check out the tiny unibrow on Frida Kahlo. Check out a bunch of Little Bun’s clothespin dolls in the gallery below:

Wait, I have a new favorite. That little Knight who says “Ni” and his tiny shrubbery is priceless. Head on over to her Etsy shop if you’d like to buy some clothespin characters for yourself.

Giant Clothespin Bench: Care to Hang Around?

Quirky outoor sofas are nothing new. Remember Softa, which combined the look of indoor sofas and the durability of outdoor furniture? Fast on its heels is the Giant Clothespin Bench by Italian architects Michela and Paolo Baldessari, which as you can see and read, is fashioned in the shape of a giant vintage clothespin.

Giant Clothespin BenchPeople might be left wondering if the giant from Jack and Jill’s beanstalk dropped one of his clothespins down here on earth because it is that massive.

While it might not be the most comfortable bench on the planet, you have to give it props for creativity.
