Raúl Lázaro’s Giraffe Cup is proof that a small change in an otherwise classic design can go a loooong way to spark the imagination. The leggy design is both a cup and an art piece, sure to start conversations. Exotic enough to make a statement, but not so much that it looks like bad Tommy Bahama!

Space Invaders Ceramics Class up Your Kitchen

I love Space Invaders stuff, but there are probably plenty of people who would like its merchandise to be a bit more classy. Maybe a bit more old world. Well, for those fans, check out mudstuffing’s Etsy shop.

The shop offers all kinds of cool screenprinted pottery, but the best pieces are his Space Invaders pieces. There is a small salsa bowl, a cup and a square plate. They are all done in a vintage style and are elegant and classy.

So if you have this kind of dinnerware already, they may even match. I don’t care myself, but some people always want things that match the other stuff in their kitchen. If it has Space Invaders on it, it’s good enough for me.

C’UP Is A Coffee Cup For The Undecideds

Feeling like a strong dark shot of espresso? Or a nice long Americano? Whichever it is, there’s no need to have two separate cups to hold your drinks, when you can have just one. The C’UP combines the two in one package, though we can’t exactly say it’s the most beautifully designed cup on the planet. As a matter of fact, you’d think they’d charge next to nothing to make up for the sub-par design, but what’s happened is rather the opposite: it’s an outrageous 40€ (or about $53) for just one. A set of six will set you back 220€ (or about $288). But hey, fools and their money are easily parted.

Crystalline Carafe

Inspired by one of nature’s wonders, the geode, this carafe design makes for a beautiful and eye-catching water pitcher. Similar to how groundwater moves in a cave to form geodes, the water in the carafe moves along the crystals to create an interesting effect that is sure to be a conversation starter at the dinner table.
