POP! Alien Video Game 8-bit Action Figure is Pixel-tastic

Back in the ’90s, a video game based on the Alien movie franchise was launched, and it was cool. Notably, the Xenomorph character was pixelated like many games of that era. The game is sort of a cult classic, and to celebrate its fandom, Entertainment Earth has an exclusive pixel-art Xenomorph action figure.

The toy is a blocky 8-bit Funko POP! action figure that is black in the middle and has blue and orange shading on the sides. It stands 3 3/4-inches tall and is packaged in a window display box. The action figure is available now for $13.99.

It almost looks like a Xenomorph LEGO kit. In fact, it sort of makes me want to build a Xenomorph out of LEGO right now.

Deadpool Bob Ross Funko POP! Figure: Happy Little Chimichangas

I was a huge fan of the first Deadpool movie – it was hilarious, action packed, violent, and raunchy. If Deadpool 2 lives up to the genius marketing the film has had, I expect to be equally impressed with it. One of my favorite things Deadpool has done is dress up like Bob Ross.

I grew up watching Ross turn mistakes into happy little trees and am still a fan of his show and work. Entertainment Earth has a Deadpool Bob Ross Pop! figure that will be available this June, and it looks awesome.

Rosspool comes with a giant paintbrush, painter’s palette, and that afro that was Ross’ signature look. The toy sells for $10.99, and Deadpool fans need to own it.

Funko POP! 8-Bit Horror Figures: Pixel Panic!

Horror fans, check out these sweet Funko POP! collectibles, based on famous evildoers Freddy Krueger and Jason Voorhees. Unlike other POP! vinyl toys, these ones look like they stepped right out of the screen of a retro video game.

These ThinkGeek special edition figures come in a special color schemes inspired by the NES Friday the 13th and A Nightmare on Elm Street video games. Each character measures 3 3/4″ tall and is ready to murder all of your other POP! figures in brutal and horrific ways.

Both figures are available now over at ThinkGeek for $11.99 each.

The Dark Tower POP! Figures Have Moved On

Of all the stuff that Stephen King has written, his best work by far in my opinion is The Dark Tower. The way all of the characters are woven into the body of work is incredible, plus it’s got guns and stuff. If you are counting the day until the new movie hits theaters like me, you will want these The Dark Tower POP! figures from Funko.

You can get Roland – The Gunslinger, or the evil Man in Black, both based on the movie adaptation. I have some issues with the casting of the flick, I thought that Scott Eastwood would have been the perfect actor for Roland.

I do like Idris Elba though and think he will make a good gunslinger. I thought that Matthew McConaughey was a strange casting for The Man in Black. In fact, I heard he is easily captured in the film because he turns alright, alright, alright.

Funko and Target Are Unleashing an Adorable Darth Vader Toy

Impressive. Most impressive. Darth Vader was pretty badass in Rogue One and now he goes back to being adorable with this new Funko Pop figure. He’s super adorable.

This figure has a Death Star base and Darth Vader is riding his TIE Fighter as if it was one of those coin operated rides for kids. The Dark Lord is sitting on top ready to pew pew pew some X-Wing Fighters. Darth Vader and his TIE Fighter will be a Target exclusive sometime next month. When that happens, you’d better grab him while you can.

Have you ever seen the Sith Lord look so cute? I think not.

Jimi Hendrix Woodstock POP! Figure Will Kiss the Sky

Some of the best rock music of all time came from Jimi Hendrix. If you are fan of ’60s rock or Hendrix in particular, you will want this new Jimi Hendrix Woodstock POP! Vinyl figure, part of the awesome POP! Rocks series from Funko.

He has the iconic Jimi ‘fro, red bandanna, and his electric guitar ready to shred some All Along the Watchtower and Purple Haze.

The toy will land at Entertainment Earth on July 2017, and you can pre-order one now for $10.99(USD). Funko seems intent on POP-ing all the things, and I’m okay with that. These are some of my favorite collectibles.

Ash vs Evil Dead Funko POP! Figure is a Bloody Mess

Funko has a full line of cool POP! Vinyl action figures and a bunch of them you can buy all over the place. Heck, even Walmart sells some POP! Figures these days. Entertainment Earth has an awesome exclusive figure that you will want if you are a fan of the show Ash vs. Evil Dead.

This special POP! Has Ash with blood on his face, his chainsaw on one arm and shotgun in the other hand. The figure is available for pre-order for $12.99(USD) at Entertainment Earth and will be available in April.

If you are unfamiliar with Ash vs. Evil Dead, it’s a series on Starz that features Bruce Campbell reprising his iconic undead-killer role from Army of Darkness and Evil Dead. If you haven’t seen the movies, you have some very fun homework to do this week.

Negan Funko Pop! Action Figure Is Just Getting Started

I like Negan, he’s a stone cold killer that will literally smash your head in, but he’s kind of funny in a screwed up way. When he popped Glenn’s eye out with Lucille, it was brutal, and he was grinning the whole time. I was hoping it was Carl that would get his brains bashed in, I hate Carl. If you like Negan like I do, he is getting his own Funko Pop! Vinyl figure.

The figure has Negan’s slicked back hair and stubble, and of course he’s wearing his iconic leather jacket. That thirsty bitch Lucille is there as well all wrapped in barbed wire, because smashing you with a plain bat doesn’t hurt enough.

Negan’s action figure is set to arrive this month for $10.99(USD) over at Entertainment Earth. Now go get my axe.
