One Lump or Two Heels are Mad as a Hatter

Many men think a woman wearing high heels is kind of hot. Though if men had to wear heels to attract women, I think many of us would be happier with beer and football at home. Ladies wanting some wild heels with a unique theme might want to check these out.

Created by Irregular Choice, the shoes are called the One Lump or Two Heels and they look pretty weird. The heels are a teakettle and a teacup. All around the shoes are little touches from Alice in Wonderland, like tiny playing cards on their sides. The left heel reads “We’re all mad here” and the right says “You’re my cup of tea.”

A pair will set you back $277.99(USD) at ThinkGeek. It might be hard matching these to an actual outfit.

Illuminated Crystals High Heel Shoe

light up crystal shoe Illuminated Crystals High Heel Shoe
As if a shoe design that has the woman walking on a bed of crystals wasn’t cool enough, designer Tamar Areshidze made it so these high heels light up too! Pretty fashionable stuff right there. Here’s a night shot of the crystals fully illuminated:

Details on how exactly this is made to light up are a bit sketchy but the crystal sculpture was inspired by the work of Marina Abramovic. The crystals are artificial, made from glass.

For those who believe in the healing powers of crystals, these shoes are more like “high heals” than high heels. Cool stuff, I’d wear them if they came in a comfortable running shoe style for men.

Ms. Pac-Man Shoes: Walka, Walka, Walka

What gamer girl wouldn’t want a pair of Ms. Pac-Man high heels? They look sexy and stylish. These heels are made for gaming. And that’s just what they’ll do… You know what they say, High heels, high scores.

These Ms. Pac-Man shoes were made by Tilted Shoes on Etsy and you won’t find a better high heel game shoe of the Ms. Pac-Man variety. So what if they cost $186(USD) a pair? You can’t put a price on wearing a video game on your feet.

Who knows? Maybe you will meet a guy wearing some Pac-Man shoes and have lots of little Pac-Man Juniors.

iPhone Holding High Heel Shoe

With new 3-D printing technology, anything is possible. If you can think it, you can print it. Alan Nguyen thought it would be a great idea to mash-up an iPhone case and a high heel wedge shoe. So he did. Just slip your iPhone right in there and you’ve got your phone on your feet.

It’s fashion meets art meets technology. You can carry two phones, one on each foot. It may not be entirely practical (one good kick and your iPhone could go flying out of the shoe), or all that comfortable, but at least it looks good- or interesting at the very least. (via technabob)

Mojito Heels: Don’t Drink and Design!

I’ve seen a lot of weird shoes in the past few years. Remember the Scary/Beautiful shoes that looked more scary than beautiful, and the pimp shoes with fish tanks in them? But I think none are quite as strange or interesting as Julian Hakes’ Mojito heels.

Mojito Shoe1Hakes’ design went viral back in 2009 when he posted a concept that garnered widespread attention. His design explored the idea of how a shoe would look like if it were thought of as a bridge was certainly strange, but as you very well know, strange is ‘in’ and considered all sorts of awesome these days.

Models wrote asking for his shoes, blogs covered his design, and almost everyone was wondering the same thing: could it be turned into a reality? The answer is yes, and it has been a reality, for a couple of years now.

The design looks extremely uncomfortable, but then again, looks can be deceiving. A variety of colors are available for purchase online, with each pair costing between £125 – £175 (~$201 to $283 USD).
