Fruits from Start to Finish

Simply called the “Fruit Bowl”, this innovative packaging design makes it easy to transport fruit from the grocery store, home, and then to the waste bin.

Available at the store, users can pick one up and place their fruit of choice inside to carry home. Then, they can easily rinse the fruit by adding water and using the drain located on top. Store your favorite fruits or eat them directly from the canister. The convenient cap doubles as a place to temporarily throw your seeds or pits and makes it easy to dispose of them.

The Boat Defender

landho_01

Boat fenders are useful for absorbing kinetic energy and preventing damage when the vessel is berthing against a jetty, dock or another vessel, but current designs have a long way to go in terms of durability and storage. They’re bulky and create utter chaos when brought inside the boat! The Land Ho rethinks the fender as nestable units that are simple to knot and throw over for protection and even easier to bring in and store without causing clutter. Made from a similar Rubbylene material used in run-flat tire tech, they’re made to last through the years!

Omegle in the park!

vacuum_table_1

Vacuum seems like one of those IoT devices that are pretty cool, but incomplete as a concept. The Vacuum is a bench that allows people who sit on it to create memories by connecting to the bench’s Wi-Fi system and be a part of Vacuum’s social network. This allows you to build bonds with the area and the people in it at a given point of time. The vacuum network spans across the city where these benches are located, and people can cross share moments and memories, creating a sort of hive-network of Vacuum users (people seated on the bench).

What sort of befuddles me is the additional features of this bench. It comes with a layer of thermo-chromic paint that allows the bench to change color. The bench can also warm up, based on temperature settings. Now while these features may not make sense to a few, it definitely seems like a good idea to have get-away points within the city where people can build bonds and acquaintances, while actually being outside, and not cooped up in their houses.

Do you want this shirt to-go?

takeaway_shopping_bag_1

The fashion domain has flourished and flourished so well. It’s silly to see how fashion logistics isn’t a thing. The Takeaway hanger-bag is a concept that extends good design beyond the limit of good-looking clothes. Designed in a very unique shape, the Takeaway is instantly memorable. You don’t confuse it for a plastic bag. You notice how different it is. The Takeaway opens up to accommodate newly purchased clothes. Once at home, slide the shirts over the Takeaway’s handle to use it as a hanger.

Now why hasn’t anyone lapped this idea up yet??
