All the more reason to cycle!

Print

Having recently completed its Kickstarter campaign as a runaway success, the Boncho is every biker’s dream. You see, Only Mary Poppins can cycle with an umbrella in her hand, and raincoats clearly weren’t designed for bikers who needed an instant way to block out the precipitation. Enter Boncho, a smart and highly effective water-resistant poncho you can wear while riding a two wheeler. It folds open in a jiffy so you’re not wet by the time you have it assembled, and it packs just as easily into a compact little circular avatar. Now it may turn a few heads when you’re sporting a cycling-poncho, but hey, at least you’re not completely drenched, eh? Win!

The Boncho Is a Poncho for Bike Riders

The Boncho is a poncho accessory that covers riders to protect them from the rain. It also neatly folds up for easy and compact storage. It’s not much of a fashion statement, but it will keep you dry.

What makes The Boncho unique is the way it covers your handlebars to keep your hands dry, which actually makes you safer too. You don’t want your hands to slip so that you lose control. When you aren’t using it, it packs away nicely in its own carrying pouch. When you need it, it unfolds in just a few seconds.

If you don’t mind looking a little weird, this will keep you dry on those commutes to work. Getting wet on a bike really stinks. The Boncho is has already surpassed its Kickstarter goal, and a €55 (~$60 USD) pledge will get you one of your own.

Pac-Man Poncho Perfect for When It’s Raining Power Pellets

Retro game fans looking to make a fashion statement on a rainy day, look no further. This is the rain poncho to end all rain ponchos. The next time it rains where you live, skip the umbrella, and go with the Pac-Man poncho instead.

Actually, it’s not really a Pac-Man poncho, it’s a Blinky ghost poncho, and it’s actually just called the “retro arcade poncho,” presumably to avoid any nastiness from Namco’s crack legal team. Regardless of its name, the poncho will look great on any retro game guy or gal, and keep the rainwater off your head and shoulders as it pours down (though it won’t keep you from turning blue and being eaten by a giant yellow dot-gobbling creature.)

You can grab the Pac-Man Blinky Retro Arcade Poncho over at I Want One of Those for £5.99 ($~10 USD.)
