When World of Warcraft Classic arrives in the summer, how will player-versus-player combat work? Just like it did when the original game launched, apparently. Blizzard has outlined a gradual introduction for PvP fights that will mimic the initial r...

World of Warcraft Cooking Show Pops up in South Korea

Often, when we talk about weird foods, they are out of Japan. This time the foodie oddity is from South Korea in the form of a cooking show with a World of Warcraft theme. The show’s name translates to “Wow! Recipe? The Meal is Ready.” That is a really long name for an odd show, but then again Google Translate could be wrong.

The show is backed by Blizzard and hosted by chef Choi Hyun-seok, who is apparently well-known on Korean TV and as a WoW fan. Obviously, the show will cook Warcraft inspired meals.

I expect them all to be green and glowing or massive meat cuts left on the bone. Participants will also talk about their WoW experiences as well.

World of Warcraft Cookbook is for Hungry Gamers

This fall, gamers will be able to get your mitts on the official World of Warcraft cookbook from Simon & Schuster. Written by Chelsea Monroe-Cassel, the book features real world interpretations of food that players might see in the game. Along with sweets, main dishes, and desserts, the book also has some drinks to enjoy.

Some recipes are weird – like Honey-Spiced Lichen, which are actually baked kale leaves that you dip in salsa. One of the stranger recipes will be a hard one to make and it is called Ironforge Rations. This recipe calls for canned haggis. I can’t say that I have ever seen canned haggis in stores in the States, but then again I have never really went looking for it.

I am down for the Rylak Claws, which are essentially cinnamon rolls with almonds for fingernails.

This Guy Tries to Reach Level 100 in WoW Using a Dance Pad

Twitch user Rudeism likes to do things differently. No, really. Sometimes he plays Portal with a guitar controller or Mirror’s Edge on a steering wheel. This guy marches to the beat of his own drum. Now he wants to dance his way to victory!

At the moment, he’s playing World of Warcraft using a Dance Pad controller. The goal is to dance his way to level 100 while playing “Dancecraft.” You can check out his most recent stream here. It’s kind of amazing how easily he plays the game on that Dance Pad.

You can continue to watch this saga unfold if you like and see if he makes it to level 100. It looks like he won’t have too much trouble.
