Official Undertale Figurines Are Gonna Be Your Besties

Undertale fans, your wallets are about to get dunked on. Fangamer will be releasing official figurines based on the game’s characters with the help of toy sculptor Gijs Van Kooten. The first wave of figurines consists of the Human, Lesser Dog, Papyrus, Toriel and Sans. Undyne is not going to be happy about this. Each figure ranges from 2.5″ to 3.6″ tall.

The figurines will cost $15 (USD) each, but you can also buy all five for $70. There’s no release date yet, but you can have Fangamer send you an email when they’re available.

Cart Notes: You Can Read These Cartridges without Blowing on Them

I think back to the days of my old 8-bit NES console and when games came on cartridges. There were definitely advantages of the medium, in that you never had to worry about scratched discs, and they loaded instantly. On the other hand, the contacts got all dirty and dusty and you either had to blow on them or clean them with an eraser to get them to work sometimes. You won’t have to worry about that with these cartridges, though.

That’s because all of the data that’s written to Cart Notes is displayed right on the outside, in plain sight. They look just like the old NES carts, but are actually sticky notes.

Fangamer sells Cart Notes in three-packs for $8(USD), which include orange, green and blue accent colors, and 50 notes per-pack, for a total of 150 sheets of paper. I’m pretty sure that wouldn’t be enough space to write down all of the source code from Duck Hunt, but it is plenty good enough for writing down grocery lists and other reminders.

Remember the Zelda playing cards concept? Rejoice! deviantART member Nelde and Fangamer have turned it into a real product! Also Princess Zelda has been kidnapped again. But yay! Playing cards!

Contrary to my previous understanding of the suits, there are still four suits in this set – the Master Sword and Triforce are the black suits, while the Rupee and Heart are the red suits – so you can still use this to play Earthly card games. If I were you, I’d buy an extra set so you’ll have one with all the gorgeous artwork in mint condition.
