Santa Hat Earphone Jack Plug Makes Phones Jollier

I know it’s not yet December, but if you’re already feeling Christmas in the air, bless your cheerful soul. Here’s a quirky accessory that lets you plug a hole in your phone with Holiday cheer. It fits into the 3.5mm audio jack, doubling as protection from dirt. It hasn’t happened to my phone, but dirty jacks can cause problems with your gadget’s audio.

The hat is made of plastic, polymer and a bit of fabric all glued together, decorated with acrylic paint and then varnished. Obviously the hat won’t look as nice if you happen to own an iPhone 5 or any other device that has its 3.5mm output on its butt. Maybe someone should make a Christmas stocking plug for those devices.

You can buy the Santa Hat earphone jack plug from MyBookmark for $9.50 (USD). The shop also sells non-Christmas-themed plugs. You Grinch.

Made in Korea, the Sumneeds Line Tail earphone jack accessory was made to protect your audio jack on your phone from getting damaged when you aren’t using your headphones. The tails also act as a simple cord-management device. Simply string your earphone cord through the end of the tail, and wind it up when not in use.
