As you might have guessed from the name, the Space Roam fixed gear bike looks to the universe for inspiration to break away from predictable design. Like liquid metal, the ultra-streamlined frame achieves an almost monocoque aesthetic with the only visible break being that of the front wheel. Built for speed, it’s so lightweight you’ll feel like you’re riding the moon!

Cycle + Air Pump

Inflator Bicycle is a cycle design where the frame of the bike acts as an inflator for cycle tire. This “always with you” bicycle pump is designed by putting inside the frame a connecting bar and a piston. You can pump in air to the tire by simply moving the bicycle seat up and down. The pipe and the gas nozzle hooks onto the cycle frame and it inflates both, the back wheel and the front wheel.

Cycling With illume

The illume is a bicycle that combines a simple bike design with advanced technology. To overcome the problems of riding at night, the design merges the indicator, brake and headlights into the frame in a way that it affords a safer ride. A lithium-ion battery and an actuator that transforms kinetic energy to electrical energy power the lighting system that is integrated into the frame.

Crafted from aluminum and carbon fiber, ‘illume’ provides complete suspension with a suitable form.

Kawasaki’s concept cycle can morph into a three-wheeler, comes from your cyberpunk dreams

Does Kawasaki's new electric cycle have two, three wheels or four? Well, it depends. According to the conceptual sketches and a terse explanatory panel, the "J vehicle" concept EV can switch between a lie-down two-wheel Akira / Tron-baiting cycle and a ~~four~~ three-wheel drive mode, with the latter designated as "comfort" mode. The model, revealed at this year's Tokyo Motor Show, is apparently powered by Kawasaki's biggest onboard battery pack, the Gigacell, although (any other) details aren't forthcoming. That's probably because it's from the future and is tearing the space-time continuum apart.

(Update: According to those aforementioned concept images, only the front wheels separate outward in comfort mode, turning it into a three-wheeled vehicle, not a quad-bike. We apologize for the error.)

Its slim silhouette combines the advantages of both two and four-wheeled vehicles. It leans into curves for the thrill of riding a motorcycle, but its frame provides the security, safety and stability of a car. No wider than a scooter, it zips through the city and nimbly navigates traffic.

Modern Throwback Moto

In pure cafe racer style, the Monocasco pays homage to retro motorcycle designs, but with a modern compact electric motor in substitute of a twin petrol engine normally found in this style. Its combination of slim fairs, single tube headlight, and fat tires give it a late 60s racer vibe. Fast looking, but not aggressive, this fashionable bike is one that the ladies will love.

ZIPcycle

ZIPcycle is the next evolution of the bicycle, aerodynamically optimized for less exertion & higher cruising speeds. In short, the rider gets more output with less input! The position of the rider is streamlined & elements are enclosed with fairings to greatly reduce drag; so much so that about 40% less energy is required to maintain a cruising speed of 20MPH (double the average commuting speed). The ergonomic riding stance also reduces handlebar strain & seat pressure… all this & riders still get an open-air experience!

ADDITIONAL FEATURES:

-Monocoque aluminum chassis;

-Linked steering mechanism, connecting the handlebar to the steering tube and front wheel fork (a mechanism found in underseat steering recumbent bicycles)

-Hub shifting in the rear wheel to accommodate the necessary gearing range

-Lubricated bearings, gears, and chains enclosed within the chassis in an internal driveshaft beam (so you will never again get grease on your clothes)

-Hollow tail-box, accessible by tilting the ventilated seat forward, spacious enough for a medium sized bag

-Option for an in-hub motor an lithium ion battery pack to provide hill and acceleration assist functions for cyclists in hilly and mountainous regions
