If Baja and F1 had a baby!

Designer Radek Štěpán has conceptualized not only an innovative roadster, but an entirely new style of racing which he calls FORMUL2… and it makes F1 seem like a total snoozefest!

The track idea is a hybrid consisting of half tarmac, half dirt. You can imagine the challenges and excitement that take place as drivers must switch between two completely different styles of driving. Additionally, this calls for an entirely new type of vehicle that can be modified mid-race to tackle the varying terrain. The result is a transforming racer that relies on autonomous droids to metamorphose its chassis and tires at specified pit stops between track types. Of course, this means an entirely a new wheel designed specifically for the unpredictable dirt terrain.

ATV Awesomeness

We usually consider ATV’s to be testosterone-fueled tuff stuff, and this quad is no exception, but you might find its aesthetic inspiration surprisingly soft! The Shiva was designed with… wait for it… seriously, take a breath… DANCING in mind! And not just any dancing, but ribbon dancing. Before you start giggling, check out its fierce fairings, aggressive aerodynamic shape and sporty paint job. It might come from a tender place, but the result is a mean-looking modern machine.

Track N Go: An Easy-To-Use System Of Tracks For Your Vehicle

track-n-go

If you’re the kind of person who bought a serious off-road vehicle, you just might also be the kind of person who’s going to actually want to use that vehicle off road. But even the toughest utility vehicle on the planet will eventually be challenged by deep snow. Mounting tracks on your truck is usually a very time consuming experience, requiring serious mods and a lot of money in addition to the tracks themselves. Not so with the Track N Go. Just drive over the tracks and spend an estimated 15 minutes hooking it up. That’s for the 4 wheels, not each! And just like that you’ll be able to drive up to 21mph in deep snow.

Of course, we say “just like that” but it’s not that simple: Track N Go is expected to cost around $25,000, regardless of the vehicle it’s used on.

Der Zeisel, which means “the seat” in German, looks like a combination of a tank and a mobility scooter. However, it’s able to handle snow, grass, mud, and sand. A racing seat was bolted onto a tube steel frame and its two off-road tracks are powered by electric disk motors, which produce 21 hp and 30 lb-ft of torque. The included battery pack will operate the seat for up to five hours, driving at a maximum speed of 22 mph.

Extreme Barbie Jeep Racing: Fisher-Price Goes Off-Road

Wow. This is a real sport. Extreme Barbie Jeep Racing is basically off-roading, but without the huge heavily modified and super horsepower 4x4s. Instead you use cheap, fast, toy plastic cars that grown men barely fit in, and remove the speed limiters. Sounds awesome.

From what I can gather from the info available, you drink a bunch of moonshine, slap each other on the back a few times, crank up the country music and then push each other down the hill in one of these kid’s cars.

I guess I would be game for that. Just don’t try to feed me any roadkill or anything. And the minute I hear banjo music, I’m out!
