Surf’s Up on the LEGO Rainbow Wave Machine

Look at that rainbow wave go. Taste the rainbow. I mean taste the LEGO. I mean, it’s just so wavy and pretty. Berthil van Beek makes many cool LEGO machines, but his latest machine is very very soothing and hypnotic.

This machine features 38 undulating colors and approximately 1,150 pieces. The colorful LEGO wave goes up and down while balls are fed to the top, riding said wave. Berthil was apparently inspired to create the machine after seeing the rainbow of colors available in LEGO’s Creator XXXL Box.

Now what I really want to see are little LEGO minifigs surfing this wave.

These Rainbow Pencils Make the Coolest Shavings

Between my electronic gadgets and pens, it’s pretty rare that I use a pencil. Sure, I’ll use colored ones to fill in the occasional cool coloring book, but for the most part, the old #2 kind gets little use around here. Now, here are some pencils I’d want on my desk just because they look so cool.

Designed by Duncan Shotton, these Rainbow Pencils have a construction that’s made up out of multi-colored layers of recycled paper. As you sharpen them, the shavings that remain have a rainbow pattern on them. Naturally, the shaved portion of the pencil is rainbow-colored too, though it still only draws in dark grey graphite.

You can grab a set of five Rainbow Pencils for £5 (~$6 USD) for a 3-pack, or £10 (~$12) for a 5-pack, which makes no sense to me at all. Seems like a better deal to buy two 3-packs.

Unicorn Poop Scarf Plush is Buttifull

Not too long ago I talked a bit about that zombie plush scarf that has bloody entrails to keep your neck warm. Now we have an ever weirder and cooler plush scarf to check out in the form of a stuffed unicorn. Said unicorn has rainbow poop coming out of his butt.

That custom printed rainbow poo fabric is what keeps your neck warm in the cooler months. The scarf is 5.5-feet long and made from fleece for warmth.

Its 100% polyester and the overall dimensions are 9″ tall for the plush, and the scarf is 5.1′ long by 5 .75″ wide. The unicorn poop scarf is $44.99 at ThinkGeek.

Bus-stand meets airport

rainbow_bus_stand_1

Yes, I know, Public Transport’s not the classiest means of getting from A to B, but hey, could someone at least give us a place to wait for public transport that isn’t just a roof on four vertical columns? Designer Yan Feng felt pretty much the same way, so he designed the Rainbow Intelligent Bus Station, a bus-stop that’s so dapper, you’d rather just sit there and watch buses drive by.

Equipped with the finest, the Rainbow Bus Station runs on Solar Power (probably the best place to harness it, judging by how hot it gets around roads) and provides commuters with services like WiFi, GPS, etc. Now why doesn’t someone just put this thing on wheels?!
