Jetpack Backpack Launches Kids Back to School

Kids may have already headed back to school for the year, but they can always use some new gear. When you send them off to school for the day, you want them to feel confident and happy. I can think of no better way to do this than to give your kid a Jetpack Backpack. This awesome bag won’t actually send your kiddo into space, but they’ll look awesome walking around here on planet Earth. Designed by Andy Mason for Suck UK, the pack looks like a pair of rocket engines, complete with “flames” shooting out of the bottom. 3… 2… 1… lift off!

In addition to its main and side compartments, the rocket fuel tanks provide storage for drinks, pencils, and other small items. You can grab the Jetpack Backpack directly from Suck UK for $50.

The Dino Case Is a T-Rex Protector of Your Lunch

Lunchboxes were a big deal when I was in grade school way back in the day. We all wanted those metal ones with cool pictures on them, not the plastic ones with the single stickers on front. I was a big fan of the Star Wars, GI Joe, and The Dukes of Hazzard lunch boxes personally, but I would have definitely carried Suck UK’s Dino Case.

It’s technically not a lunch box, it’s a case to carry whatever you want to cram in its maw. I’d have carried lunch in it. Though if it messed up my Little Debbie Nutty Bars, there’d be a dino vs. human fight, and I’d win.

It appears that the hinged case is held closed by the strap around its jaws so it’s not that secure, and there isn’t a lot of room inside its mouth. However, you will look like a badass carrying around a dinosaur’s head in your hands.

It’s not going to be available for another month or two, but you can pre-order one for $35 on Amazon now.

3D Spaceship Cookie Cutters: Houston, We Have a Pastry

After the dinosaurs came the astronauts and their spaceships. At least that’s the sequence of events I recall from my history lessons in grade school. And thus the same sequence of events is playing itself out in the world of 3-dimensional cookie cutting. Previously, we had some awesome dinosaur cookie cutters, and now, you can buy outer space cookie cutters. History repeats itself. It’s Déjà vu all over again.

Just like the dinosaurs before them, these cookie cutters from Suck UK let you bake delicious 3-dimensional cookies by assembling components into a single composite treat. The series includes a rocket ship, a space shuttle, some sort of martian spacecraft, and something that looks vaguely like a TIE fighter.
