Adobe Lightroom uses AI to edit your photos like a pro

Creative Halo Bluetooth Speaker Adds a Splash of Color to Your Tunes

Bluetooth speakers are a dime a dozen, so if you’re going to make one these days, it had better stand out from the crowd. There are only so many bland black rectangles that we can take. Creative’s Halo speaker does a good job differentiating itself with a bright splash of colorful lighting on its front.

Measuring in at about 6.9″ (w) x 4.25″ (h) x 2.75″ (d), and weighing just over a pound this Bluetooth speaker is small enough to go anywhere, and features a colorful light ring around its speaker grille to give it some visual excitement to go with your music.

It works in concert with a companion smartphone app, which lets you program the colors to your liking, with a selection of 12 moving patterns. You can even make it pulse to the beat of your music.

The speaker itself features a pair of full-range drivers mounted in a bass-reflex enclosure. Creative says that it offers up a deep bass punch, but I can’t really comment on its sound quality since I’ve yet to listen to one. Battery life for the Halo speaker is rated at 8 hours, and the speaker also has a built in microphone for taking phone calls.

The Creative Halo speaker is available now for $69.99(USD) over on Amazon.
