Finally an iPhone case that solves the “what to do with the headphone cord” problem. The Folio iPhone 5 case has a hinged compartment door that opens to reveal a cord management system for your earbuds. The exterior of the door has a 3 compartment leather wallet to hold your ID and credit cards. The hard plastic case protects your phone as well. No more cramming those earbuds into your pocket or wrapping them around the phone- now they have a storage place.

Bizarre 3D Food iPhone Cases
Despite the knife pictured above, that’s not a pair of scallions atop an iPhone, that’s actually a 3D green onion case (by the way, “despite the knife” would make a great band name). The iMeshi series of iPhone 5 cases really take a love of food and put it out there for all to see. Maybe it’s just me, but I don’t see the point of a case that’s so much larger than the phone… bananaphone anyone?
Too small for a banana, too large for a case. But don’t worry carnivores, it’s not just restricted to fruits and veggies. Why here’s a bacon and egg case.
Actually that one’s not really too bad. And I’m not just saying that because it’s bacon- it’s because it’s flatter AND because it’s bacon. Bacon really does make everything better. Sushi anyone?
Don’t quote me on this but I believe that dipping your iPhone in soy sauce voids the warranty. Stick with just the wasabi. These weird food cases sell for about $40, imported from (you guessed it) Japan, if you’re really interested. Are you?
Mojo Refuel Aqua is a Waterproof Battery Case for iPhone
Get the ultimate protection for your iPhone 5 and bonus battery charging with the iBattz Mojo Refuel Aqua. iBattz claims this is the world’s first waterproof iPhone 5 Battery case with interchangeable 2200mAh battery. Now you can not only eliminate the fear of dropping your phone into the water but also of running out of battery power. The waterproof (to 3 ATM) case also protects against sand and dust.
Bring your iPhone to the beach, the pool, or even places where it’s way more likely to get dropped into the water like your kitchen or bathroom. Stuck in a rainstorm and running low on battery power? No problem. They also sell a few optional accessories like a floating wristband leash just in case you plan on doing some underwater iPhoning.

iPhone Cases with Playable Marble Games
Now you can not only play games on your iPhone, you can also play games on the back of your iPhone. With these Puregear Gamer Cases, you can play a little labyrinth style marble maze game on the back of the cases. There’s 3 different styles and colors to choose from.
Besides protecting your phone from drops and falls, these cases have a little marble embedded in the backside (it doesn’t specifically say, but it looks like it’s held in behind a clear plastic backing). Goodbye boring cases that just sit there and don’t do anything and hello old school game playing cases.
Pet Door iPhone Cases
These Pet Door iPhone 5 Cases might look slightly impractical with that big ol’ dog (or cat!) sticking out but it’s actually smart. The pet coming through the doggie door actually works as a stand for your phone, in either portrait or landscape mode. Bet you can’t do that with a real cat.
Of course trying to put your phone away with a toy animal sticking out of it would be slightly awkward, so the cats and dogs actually twist off. And fear not, you won’t be left with just half an animal, as the front half of the pets snaps into the back half and forms a phone charm or a keychain.
Comes in two dog variations (dalmatian and french bulldog) and two cat styles (russian blue and american shorthair).
Grassy iPhone Case
Time to mow the iPhone. The Shibaful iPhone Case has a grassy textured covering on a polycarbonate case. Apparently it’s “modeled on grass from Yoyogi Park in Tokyo”, which I’m sure is similar to your own grass- green. Although New York’s Central Park and London’s Hyde Park versions are in the pipeline. Demo video? Yep:
It’s limited to just 100 pieces and selling for about $60. With this case, if you drop your phone it’s ok, cause it always lands on the grass. Just don’t drop it on real grass, you’ll never find it. Especially in Yoyogi Park.
iPhone Holding High Heel Shoe
With new 3-D printing technology, anything is possible. If you can think it, you can print it. Alan Nguyen thought it would be a great idea to mash-up an iPhone case and a high heel wedge shoe. So he did. Just slip your iPhone right in there and you’ve got your phone on your feet.
It’s fashion meets art meets technology. You can carry two phones, one on each foot. It may not be entirely practical (one good kick and your iPhone could go flying out of the shoe), or all that comfortable, but at least it looks good- or interesting at the very least. (via technabob)
