Cat Paw Scented Hand Cream and Back-of-a-cat-head Perfume

Oh Japan. No, you’re not weird at all. You’re just… You just like cats. We get that. You like to smell cats. I’m sure that Cat Paw Scented hand cream, or a Back-Of-A-Cat’s-Head Perfume seems totally normal to you. I say, just get a cat if you like the smell. Just don’t be weird about always holding your animal up to your nose.

These appear to be real products for real cat enthusiasts. The hand cream has been specially formulated to recreate a pleasant version of the scent found in cat paws. Same with the perfume, though it spray for fabric. The hand cream costs around $10(USD), while the perfume is around $23.

Burger King Perfume Headed to Japan: Oh, the Japanity!

Japan has some very weird stuff. In fact, I think Japan is the source of most of the weird stuff in the world. Typically, when we talk Burger King, we are talking about some strange food that will be available at their Japanese locations. This time out it’s a perfume.

The scent is called “Flame-Grilled” and you can guess what it smells like. The smell coming from the grill at Burger King is the only good thing about the restaurant to me. The fragrance will only be offered in Japan and will launch on April 1.

You may be thinking, “Wait a minute! April Fools!” Apparently, in Japan April 1 is “Whopper Day” at Burger King, and unofficial holiday and this is supposedly a real product. I’m still hoping that this is fake. Who really wants to smell like grilled beef patties?

Pizza is one of the awesomest things made since sliced bread. I’m still somewhere in the middle though, when it comes to these pizza-scented fragrances from the Demeter Fragrance Library. While the idea is completely fun and out there, I’m not sure I want to go to work smelling like a freshly-baked pie.

The scent is described as containing notes of “tomato sauce, creamy mozzarella, [and] a touch of oregano.” In short, it will probably leave you smelling like your average pizza pie.
