Recently a $13 Tesla Cybertruck Corrugated Cat House went up for sale on the Chinese version of the Tesla website, and it honestly took the internet by storm! Netizens were wondering when did Tesla decided to dip its toes in the pet product industry?!

Why is it noteworthy?

What we like

3. The Lift Stool

The Lift Stool has the potential to completely mesmerize you with its stunning translucent texture, and two lifted ends that define the entire design. It is truly unlike any stool I’ve come across!

  • Operates automatically via sensors embedded within the entrance

What we dislike

  • It’s a concept!

5. Evolv Dog Crate

The Evolv Dog Crate is a far cry from the typical dog crates you see, which tend to be quite ugly and utilitarian. However, the Evolv Dog Crate by Diggs is a sleek and good-looking crate that you’ll never want to put away!

Why is it noteworthy?

The Evolv Dog Crate is Diggs’ newest and slimmest dog crate, which also has a super interesting “playpen mode”. The crate features a modular design and is a safe and cozy crate-playpen hybrid that evolves with your doggo as he grows from a puppy to a full-grown dog.

What we like

What we dislike

  • Space-consuming + bulky design

What we like

  • Clever integration not only maximizes available space but also allows pets to feel secure and close to their owners

What we dislike

  • Space-consuming and bulky design, not suitable for smaller homes

7. Travel Habitat Carrier

The Travel Habitat Carrier is an adorable cat shelter that is almost like an RV for your pet! You can carry it around on your back wherever you go, while your pet chills and relaxes.

What we like

  • A modular tent for your furry friend, so they can move around with you comfortably
  • Features a clear window for viewing and breathable meshed walls making your pet feel comfy while being transported

What we dislike

8. Tile Sticker for Cats

This super functional and cool-looking gadget is called the Tile Sticker for Cats pet tracker, and it ensures you’re always informed of your cat’s whereabouts at all times. The tracker stays close to your cat’s neck, preventing any dangling.

Why is it noteworthy?

The tracker’s location tracking always keeps you informed of your cat’s whereabouts, even if she’s feeling shy or naughty. It features a lightweight, 10-gram design that is super comfy for your kitty to wear. It also has a Bluetooth range of up to 250 feet.

What we like

  • Features a water-resistant design
  • Compatible with Alexa, Siri, and Google voice assistants, so you can always track your cat hands-free

What we dislike

  • We’re not sure how comfortable your cat would feel wearing it, or how long he/she would be able to wear it for
  • Your cat could try to scratch or damage it while trying to remove it from their neck

9. The Bowowhaus

Say hello to the Bowowhaus! A mobile hut doghouse designed by Conran and Partners to help dogs live a nomadic life. It features pencil-thin slabs of light wood and dark gray-hued panels and shades, providing doggos with a cushy and comfy traveler ambiance.

Top 10 pet products of 2022

As much as I love spending time with my own cats, I’m honestly running out of ways to keep them entertained and prevent them from knocking down an item or two in my home, out of sheer boredom. If you’re pretty much in the same precarious situation as me and are always looking for new ways to keep your pet entertained, productive, and happy, then this collection of pet products promises to come to your rescue! We’ve put together some of the best pet products we came across in 2022, and they deserve a place in 2023 as well; From a Dyson pet grooming kit to a pet carrier that doubles as a bed – these product designs will take good care of your pet, and keep them active and content. You can take a little breather, while they wrestle around with these newfound fun products! These are the pet products you need in your home.

1. Sharing Joy

Rather aptly titled ‘Sharing Joy’, this award-winning chair comes with a side table for humans to place their books and cups of tea/coffee on, and a crawl space for cats to casually lounge in (complete with a suspended toy for them to play with).

Why is it noteworthy?

What I personally love about Sharing Joy is that it subscribes to a broader vision of what lounging is and who can ‘lounge’. Designed for humans and cats to cozy up in, the chair comes with a hollow, oblong backrest that’s perfectly sized for an adult cat (or a tiny dog) to crawl into and laze around in. Moreover, the idea of having the human and pet lounging together against each other sounds like absolute perfection. 10/10 will give you the happiness hormones.

What we like

  • Sports a minimalist aesthetic that fits in most contemporary homes
  • Comes with a soft design language that’s inviting to humans and cats alike

What we dislike

  • No complaints!

2. Dmuse

Dmuse is a sauna-like drying chamber for cats to have a comfortable place to dry themselves after a bath.

Why is it noteworthy?

While getting cats into the bathtub for cleaning can feel like pulling your own teeth, it’s only half the battle. Then comes the water and we all know how cats deal with that. Take that in addition to drying your cat in a towel and you’ll end up with scratches and tooth marks up and down your arms. Introducing Dmuse, Designer Dot created a drying chamber that doubles as a cat tower as a solution for cats to have a more comfortable way of drying themselves.

What we like

  • A collection of control options manage the device’s temperature, strength, timer, and heat fan
  • Dmuse doubly operates as a cat tower for cats to rest and play even when they’re dry

What we dislike

  • We’re not sure if cats would actually enter the chamber

3. Burrow

Burrow for one ousts the regular bag appearance and those sharp-edge cage aesthetics for a pleasing design with safe corners. The functional design has a convenient push-button door and comes padded with a removable mattress for the pet to cozy up in. The walls are safe and well-ventilated. Ventilation is enhanced by a mesh door that would let the little pal peek outside and breathe fresh.

Why is it noteworthy?

What really makes the Burrow pet carrier stand out for me is its detachable design. It is built in two sections: the top and bottom being separable. The sections are enclosed with loop and hook closure which makes it easy to clip and clip off. When torn separately, the base of the pet carrier doubles as a bed.

What we like

  • Multipurpose design
  • Comes in four versatile colors

What we dislike

  • It’s still a concept!

4. The Safer Automobile Pet Crate

This dog crate is meant to be a safe space for your pet while they’re riding with you on a short or long road trip. The Safer Automobile Pet Crate doesn’t really look like an actual crate but more like an enclosed baby seat for your fur babies.

Why is it noteworthy?

It is meant to be placed behind the front passenger seat and is secured with a harness to the headrest and a seatbelt for the back part. This way, even when you’re driving fast (or as fast as you’re allowed), the crate will stay in place and your pet be safe.

What we like

  • It is made from lightweight polyester and has a breathable mesh on both sides so your dog will not feel suffocated as it can still breathe and feel the breeze if your windows are down

What we dislike

  • No complaints!

5. The Cottage Dog House

The Cottage dog house is a minimalist dog house made from metallic elements and eco-friendly felt coverings.

Why is it noteworthy?

Your dog deserves a corner of the home to call its own. Whether that means creating your own pillow fort around your dog’s bed or buying the latest, greatest dog house that only fits in the backyard, it’s up to you. Typically, dogs aren’t too fussy and they’ll find comfort wherever there’s a hint of it–on your lap or under the couch. The Cottage dog house from LSY and Jaeyeon Choi is a new kind of minimalist dog house that taps into comfort with a felt covering and sturdy build.

What we like

  • The internal cushion is meant to provide ultimate comfort for your canine friend
  • The removable roof allows for open-air or semi-enclosed sleeping

What we dislike

  • The aesthetics are a bit too simple

6. Doze

Doze is a side table where you can put some of your stuff while working, like a notebook or a cup of coffee or a glass of wine to energize you or just some pieces of decoration. The space for your stuff is actually a removable tray that you can attach or remove.

Why is it noteworthy?

The important part of this furniture though is the semi-enclosed space that is made for your pet dog. Whether they just want to rest in it or play on their own while keeping a close eye on you while you work, the dog bed seems to be pretty comfortable. It has a customizable bed cover that is made from hypoallergenic memory foam so it is both comfy and also good for their joints and bones. Memory foam is known to distribute the user’s weight and remember their shape.

What we like

  • The side table that is also a dog bed benefits both the pet and the owner
  • Help you in your productivity and does not make you want to doze off when you see your dog comfortably napping in their bed

What we dislike

  • No complaints!

7. Petpartment

Petpartment is a concept for a space for both the cat and the cat owner so you can have a “beautiful life with your beloved pets”. What makes it different from the usual cat trees is that it doesn’t just let your cat be like Obi-Wan Kenobi and have the higher ground. It’s actually meant to be decorative and functional for both of you and hide those interiors that you don’t want them to harm while they’re playing or going about their day.

Why is it noteworthy?

The architecture of this pet apartment is well thought out and actually has four different angles with different functions as well. The front view is a showcase of the material used which is red oak and stainless steel. It looks like a bookshelf but instead of filling it with books, you can fill it with a cat or two.

What we like

  • Nice piece of furniture to have, even if you don’t have pets
  • Works well for humans and felines

What we dislike

  • Don’t know if we can trust cats to be around books

8. MyZoo

MyZoo, a cat goods company, designs modern cat furniture that caters to your cat’s every need, while not disrupting your interior design. Solar, one of their more recent designs, is a wall-mountable floating cat bed that mounts onto any vertical surface so cats rest midair in their own designated space.

Why is it noteworthy?

Shaped like the sun, Solar is a small, but sturdy floating cat bed that’s built from pinewood. In a similar fashion to their other pieces of cat furniture, MyZoo lined Solar with a slotted resting platform for safe jumping. Ideal for small spaces, Solar provides a resting spot and jumping platform for your cat and saves space in the meantime.

What we like

  • Solar doesn’t take up any ground space and easily mounts to any wall where there’s room
  • Easy to assemble

What we dislike

  • There’s no cushioning on the bed, which would make it comfier

9. The Dyson Pet Grooming Kit

If you’re a pet parent, and you’re looking for a handy product to break down and ease up your pet’s cleaning process – then the Dyson Pet Grooming Kit is the product for you.

Why is it noteworthy?

The grooming kit is specifically tailored for dogs and cats. Both species tend to shed a lot – depending on the season and the breed. Instead of constantly vacuuming your home, and getting rid of all the shed fur, the grooming kit includes nifty accessories, which let you tackle the problem at its root (quite literally).

What we like

  • Makes your pet’s after-bath ritual less noisy and jarring, hence eliminating some of the stress they often experience during these sessions
  • The kit also includes an extension hose, which provides you with more than 3 feet of flexibility

What we dislike

  • You cannot use the accessories without a Dyson vacuum cleaner

10. The KIVI

The KIVI is a GoPro-inspired camera that’s designed to strap directly onto a pet collar, giving you the most glorious PoV of all time. Just plug it on your dog while playing fetch or at the beach, or onto your cat while you’re at work, and you can live the good life right from their perspective.

Why is it noteworthy?

Armed with a single lens sitting in a cube-shaped form (with a built-in flashlight no less), KIVI sits on your pet’s collar, recording everything they do and see. There aren’t any details on the action camera (given that it’s a form exercise and not a professional concept), but I’d imagine that without a display (like the one on the GoPro), the KIVI has fairly long battery life.

What we like

  • Designed to be collar-compatible

What we dislike

  • It’s still a concept!

Petvation lets your pets in and out safely with a smart door that recognizes their faces

Every kid thinks that keeping a pet is easy-peasy, at least until they get to the nitty-gritty of feeding and grooming, and that’s only for pets confined at home. Even grownups have issues when it comes to letting dogs and cats out and back in daily, which requires installing a pet door that is often an open invitation for other critters to come uninvited into your home. We don’t have such problems with humans, thanks to advancements in machine learning and computer vision. It’s about time that we use those same technologies to keep our pets and our houses safe, which is the peace of mind that this smart pet door promises homeowners and their furry friends.

Designer: Javis Sijin

Common pet doors can easily let pets in and out easily, but they also don’t offer protection against other animals that aren’t your pets, especially raccoons and, worse, coyotes or wolves. Other doors might go overboard, on the other hand, and become safety hazards to pets themselves. There are also some smart doors available, but they require putting an uncomfortable collar around your four-legged companion, akin to asking your family to wear ankle monitors just so your smart home security will recognize them.

We live in a time of AI-powered facial recognition, and those don’t actually have to limited to be limited to humans. In fact, there are plenty of examples where AI accurately recognizes different kinds of animals, and that is exactly the kind of technology that serves as the foundation of Petvation’s innovative smart pet door. In a nutshell, this door can distinguish your pet’s face from other animals to make sure it only opens your home to extended members of your family.

Anti-pinch Sensor

Petvation is a lot more sophisticated and a lot smarter than that, of course. It also has motion detectors to make sure that it closes the door only after your pet has gone through it completely. And just to be completely sure, it also has an anti-pinch sensor that can detect objects as small as 0.2 inches, ensuring that no tail will be harmed ever again. And last but definitely not least, the door runs a self-diagnostic check every time it opens and closes to make sure everything is in order and warn you if one of its sensors isn’t working properly. Of course, everything can also be controlled and monitored through your phone app, putting you in complete control of the door and your pets, not the other way around.

The smart door’s intelligence actually goes beyond the technology and extends to the very design of the product. Rather than flaps or doors that slide sideways, Petvation’s specially-designed motor quietly raises and lowers the cover, which means it requires less space for a door to be installed. Along with the built-in security latch, the PC door and aluminum alloy frame ensure stability, durability, and safety, both for pets and humans alike.

Despite its advanced features, Petvation is designed to be easy to install and can be used on any type of door or wall between 20mm (0.8in) and 185mm (7.3in) in thickness. It is powered by a 12V wall plug, which is actually a strength rather than a disadvantage. It means that the smart door will always be getting the right amount of power to remain accurate and fast all the time. You can even power it from a power bank, which can come in handy during power interruptions.

Our human lives have become safer and more convenient thanks to innovations in technology, and there’s no really no reason why our pets have to continue living in the past. This smart door takes technologies and techniques that have been around for years now and applies them to something that sounds so trivial but has a compounding effect on the wellbeing of our pets and, in the long run, our own peace of mind as well.

And as much as I love pampering my kittie cats with presents from time to time, I’m sure all dog owners feel the same. Ensuring your pet feels safe, secure, and comfortable at home is every pet owner’s priority. We want to make sure they always feel loved and truly at home! It’s important to create an environment where they feel completely safe to let their guard down, while also managing to stay active and playful. And, we’ve curated a collection of dog-friendly product designs that promise to do exactly that! These pet products will help turn your home into the ultimate safe haven for your dogs, allowing you to connect and bond with them better while ensuring they’re always comfortable. From an adaptable food bowl with a customizable stand to a carabiner-based dog leash – these products will be absolutely loved by your dogs!

TOMO gives pet gear the upgrade it’s always needed, with minimalist aesthetics and beautifully engineered designs backed by high-quality materials. Putting basic plaid collars and harnesses with those fiddly carabiner clips in the rear-view mirror, TOMO’s pet gear comes in beautiful matte black, from the leash to collar to harness, and features a unique, robust metal clasp that’s minimal, durable, and easy to secure in a matter of seconds. All the products look like they’re a part of a wonderful ecosystem (unlike current pet gear where the leash, collar, and dog tag look different because they were all bought separately. The entire ecosystem of products draws a balance between functionality, comfort, and aesthetics, giving pet-gear a modern upgrade and making them complement each other when worn together, like a well-designed suit.

The Pupsule’s name sort of perfectly encapsulates exactly what the product is. Designed like a capsule for your pup, the tiny contraption is perfectly small enough to carry with you on your pet walks. The patent-pending Pupsule comes with a two-part design – an upper half that houses empty plastic bags and a plunger, while the lower half has a 360° grabber arm (controlled by the plunger) and a smell-proof leak-proof area to store the poo until you need to dispose of it. Using the Pupsule is intuitively simple. Take off its cap, pull out an empty plastic bag and drape it around the grabber arm’s claws, and use the plunger to grab your pet’s waste before wrapping the end of the plastic and putting the cap back on. When you find yourself suitable trash can dispose of the waste, all you do is grab the top of the plastic bag, lift it out of the Pupsule, and chuck the bag in… without getting your hands or even the Pupsule dirty.

In her uploaded YouTube video, A chair made for needy pets Giertz takes us through the construction of both the chair’s initial prototype and its final form. Using Fusion 360, Giertz created a 3D model of the pet chair. The model features an enclosed crate, the main dog door, footrest, stairs, and roof to also work as Giertz’s seat. Employing CNC milling to construct the chair’s top seat and roof, sidewalls, stairs, and front entryway, Giertz cut vertical ridges along the sidewalls to bend them around the radius of the chair. After mounting the pieces of plywood together to form the prototype’s planned structure, Giertz uses screws to attach them, but the finished prototype saw some improvements. Giertz turned to CNC milling to construct the chair’s bottom piece, this time formed in two sections to fit onto the CNC bed. On top of the chair’s joined bottom piece, the rest of the CNC-milled pieces of plywood came together. To help Scraps move up and down the chair’s steps with more confidence, Giertz narrowed the distance between the steps and added a railing system to border the chair’s stairs, main seat, and roof.

Nest Bowl is a food and water bowl designed for dogs with an optional, silicone-lined stand that elevates the food bowl so that your dog won’t have to strain their necks every meal. Designed with a hexagonal shape to keep the food in place better than a round bowl, dogs can really lick their bowl clean with Nest Bowl. Coming in two different sizes, Nest Bowl’s elevated stands are included to elevate the food bowl so that it meets your dog’s height, allowing your pup to eat without having to strain their neck. In addition to its customizable height, users can choose a dual-tone color scheme to match their dog’s personality and home decor.

Designed as a heavy-duty carabiner-leash, the GPCA X Clip PRO is, well, for heavy-duty dogs. It comes with a CNC-machined 360clip that easily clips onto any dog collar or harness, offering a better user experience than traditional clasps, which are fiddly and fragile at best. The 360clip is thicker and comes machined out of solid stainless steel. It clips onto any D-ring with absolute ease, and a diamond-knurled grip makes it easy to maneuver for humans, allowing you to slip it on or off with ease. The 360clip even supports a special no-pull leash looping formation, formulated via the GPCA team. By simply allowing you to loop the leash around the dog’s front legs before clipping it to the D-ring, the no-pull formation forces the dog to turn sideways every time they pull too hard against the leash.

If your doggo has been around for a while and is aging, then the Dog Cloud Bed may just be the perfect bed for him! The Cloud Bed is a therapeutic bed that helps relieve any joint pain or discomfort they may be experiencing, by massaging them. The massaging bed provides a 3D cloud wave vibration massage using its layers of orthopedic and memory foam. In fact, you can even schedule and set up four massages for your dog in a day! You can pair it up to your smartphone via WiFi or Bluetooth connectivity, and control the bed through your phone. The Dog Cloud Bed also helps with separation anxiety, circulation, and in assisting your pet to relax and sleep better.

MUF is more of a curatorial experience for you and your pup. Inspired by the MBTI, which is a lengthy introspective test that indicates different tendencies in regard to test-takers personalities. For example, I am an INFP, indicating introversion, intuition, feeling, and perceiving, which ultimately reveals how I interact with everyday life and decision-making. Hyemin Kim, the designer behind MUF, created her own doggo-inspired MBTI system that comprises different personality traits for different dogs. A total of eight possible traits, any combination of which can be applied to your own dog, make up Hyemin Kim’s MBTI for dogs, and a piece of dog furniture is associated with each personality type.

The Joyda muzzle presents a more subtle, comfortable alternative to existing products. Instead of following a common muzzle design, which essentially looks like a cage over the dog’s mouth, the Joyda uses a light strip of fabric around the snout. For the most part, the Joyda muzzle hangs loosely, not restricting the dog’s mouth at all. The strap will only tighten when it senses a potential attack. How can the Joyda tell? Well, the muzzle comes with a sensor that clips onto the dog’s collar. If the monitor notices a change in heart rate or other signs that might indicate aggression, it will send a signal to the muzzle and tighten around the dog’s snout until the perceived threat passes.

Outdoor pet equipment company TailHigh has revealed the ‘Hybrid Dog Harness’ combining a harness with a leash in one single contraption that saves the trouble of carrying an additional leash and attaching or detaching it to the harness. This innovative dog accessory, with a lightweight and retractable tape-type leash extendable up to 5 feet, is designed by BKID. Interestingly, it is made from breathable, soft EVA foam combined with mesh fabric for a comfortable fit. The harness is equipped with a seat belt like two-way-lock safety stop technology, which if the dog pulls the string during an unexpected action, can automatically stop the line even if the owner misses the handle, letting the dog escapes unhurt.

Migo is short for ‘amigo,’ which means ‘friend’ in Spanish. Each component of Migo communicates and connects to one another via Bluetooth, which allows for remote interaction between dogs and their owners. The system’s main appeal is the collar since it comes equipped with a tracking system, temperature sensor, heart rate monitor, audio output, and an LED flashlight. Owners can also have all eyes on their dog at home through the camera unit that functions as a traditional surveillance camera. The camera even comes with a speaker so that owners can speak to their dogs whenever anxiety levels seem to rise.

This minimal Japandi-style coffee table doubles up as the ultimate cat home for your pet!

If you have a cat or two at home, then you know that they manage to weasel into almost any corner of your home, leading you to search for them for hours to no avail. They appear when they want to, they disappear when they feel like. Is it your cat’s home or your own? You’ll never know. But I do believe a well-designed piece of furniture, created especially for your kitty, could be a solution to this problem. It could provide your cat with his/her very own spot, a haven for them to cozy up in, and indulge in some much-needed me-time. And, Julia Kononenko’s Miu is a brilliant example of such a design!

Miu is a minimal and elegant coffee table, that would fit perfectly into your living room, functioning not only as a stunning centerpiece but as a comfy nook for your cat. Something about Miu almost reminds me of a mushroom! A circular wooden platform serves as the tabletop, whereas the lower body is bulbous in shape and a warm chocolate brown in color. The bulbous body is hollow from within, with a little kitty-sized entrance. Your pet can easily enter the table, and snuggle up inside. It’s your kitty’s own personal den! A soft cushion inside the table makes it a super comfy space for your cat. The legs of the table are cushioned as well, and also quite stubby! They are so cute to look at.

Miu is unlike other complicated and bulky furniture for cats, it’s a simple and clean design that caters to both humans and pets – functioning as a coffee table for us while also doubling up as a cat home! It’s the perfect integration of a furniture design and pet product.

Designer: Julia Kononenko

They make furniture that doubles as an adventurous cat’s dream. At first glance, the bed frame looks like a hollow base with circular entrances in each corner. It has plenty of space for your cat to stretch its limbs underneath your bed. When you lift the mattress, it reveals an elaborate maze to keep your feline entertained. The frame also has two sections with a splattering of tiny paw-sized holes that could either be peep-holes or a little trap for unsuspecting paw swipes. Your ankles will not appreciate it, but your cat will love the hunt.

Sio is a cat tower carved from natural wood with integrated perch swings and cushioned hideouts for cats to climb and rest until they’re ready for a catnap. The Sio cat tree keeps the same shape as a twin step ladder, providing a semi-enclosed bottom resting area and carpeted steps with connecting slings where cats can relax and keep a close eye on their humans. Constructed from natural wood, the Sio cat tree is discreet enough to fit into most modern living rooms and blend in with the rest of the furniture.

This table designed by Dinos for cat owners is handcrafted by local craftspeople from natural red oak wood to age well over time and remain a place where your cat can perch. The table’s rounded corners are also specially sanded down to ensure safe climbing and jumping for your cat. When you’d like your cats to join you while you work, the table features a center cavity through which they can poke their heads and see what you’re up to. In the center of the table, the craftspeople at Dinos carved a 16cm hole just above a circular shelf where your cat can rest. When your cat isn’t resting on the shelf, it can be used to store items like magazines or even cat toys.

The upper section consists of columns that provide your cat privacy as he/she carries out their business, and also allows the litter box to integrate with your living space, without actually looking like one! Developed specifically for small to medium-sized apartments, Co-Living is a full-body mirror and cat tower combined to become a shared, interactive piece of interior furniture for cats and humans alike. Featuring concealed storage areas and tucked-away hideouts, Neko Goten was designed on the basis of understanding the behavior of cats with acute attention to what makes them really purr. On the left side, Neko Goten’s staircase brings cats to alternating jumping perches where cats can leapfrog before heading up to the tower’s plastic hemisphere that hovers above the entire play area. Below the staircase, a hideout offers a covert place for cats to rest without bother. Then, the center section of Neko Goten features a hive-like resting area that’s stationed atop a hollowed-out carpeted ring reminiscent of a hamster wheel, where cats can either rest, scratch, or knead until a cat nap’s in order.

PaiPai Pets’ double basin cat kennel is a cat tower and console storage cabinet in one. Looking at the kennel head-on, two wide doors border a narrower middle door, which opens up to the kennel’s storage unit and jungle-gym interior. On the left and right sides of the kennel, there’s enough space to fit two large litter boxes, which are always accessible through the middle door’s open porthole. Behind the kennel’s center cabinet, storage shelves can be found where cat owners can stow away smaller items like cans of wet cat food and litter scoopers. Painted in bright white, with natural wood accents along the perimeter, the kennel can remain discreet even in busier home spaces like the living room or den. Along the sides of the kennel, smaller portholes allow for plenty of airflows as well as a fun way for you to play whack-a-mole with your cat.

Dog-friendly Products to help your pet feel comfortable, loved + his best self at home!

Though I am a cat person through and through, I cannot help but go gaga over doggos from time to time. They are just so adorable, and not to mention insanely loving (a quality most cat owners aren’t used to witnessing in their pets). From a dog house that doubles up as a modular sofa, letting your pet and you share a common space, to a slow feeder dog bowl that’s been inspired by the Swiss Alps – these products will be absolutely loved by your dogs!

Designed by Ben Hansen, this simple yet innovative dog house uses excess water from watering plants and filters it into the dog’s water bowl! Rattan with green accents gives it a light, airy feel. The minimal dog house will brighten any corner of your home – hard not to when it holds a cute plant and pet! It’s an adorable piece of furniture that not only serves as a home for your pet but also doubles up as an elegant plant holder, harmoniously merging with the interiors of your home. Ben’s approach to this is almost reversal to the way we treat our pets and plants. While we love the use of rattan and wish to promote this sustainable material, there is also a certain lightness to the material which needs to be balanced by a strong and heavy metal frame to keep your energetic puppy from toppling this over! There are rather obvious questions about the actual purification of this plant water runoff and we hope Ben will soon share more details on the design’s execution.

With a foldable design, the Redminut dog water bottle, designed by Marco Chen & Archer Guan, is a portable travel accessory for dogs and their owners that ensures your doggo won’t ever go thirsty. Redminut relies on a hinged folding mechanism that allows the dog water bottle to easily close for storage and expand for use. Once the dog bottle’s lid is fully expanded to 180°, water is released with the push of the bottle’s only button. Since Redminut’s folding mechanism is so easy to use and carry on the go, it’s the ideal travel companion for outdoor activities like afternoons spent at the dog park or long walks around you and your pup’s favorite lake. Redminut can also be fully extended and put into use with one hand, so you can always hold the leash in the other.

If your doggo has been around for a while and is ageing, then the Dog Cloud Bed may just be the perfect bed for him!

Imagine the majestic mountains of the Swiss Alps, a picturesque, awe-inspiring landscape. Imagine how you would capture and portray its natural beauty in, of all things, your dog’s food bowl. The K2 slow feeder, at first glance, looks quite similar to products in this vein. After all, many dogs are fast eaters, and pet-product developers have found a simple solution to this problem: creating ridges and slopes in their bowls that make it more difficult for a dog to scoop up mouthfuls of kibble. Functionally, the K2 slow feeder works the same way, but its standout quality is its aesthetic design, which distills the Swiss Alps’ natural beauty into a visually pleasing product.

Ruffit designed the cutest Dog Carrying Backpack for your pup! The backpack ensures that you can carry your pets with you on all your adventures, they don’t have to be left behind at home! The backpack features multiple adjustable straps to help keep your doggo safely locked in. There’s no chance of him jumping out! Created by Norway-based designer Lucas Couto, Migo is a kit of IoT devices that leans on smart technology to provide remote interaction between dogs and their owners while they’re away.

With winter months getting colder and more treacherous, keeping dogs and puppies with shorter hair warm is a top priority for dog owners. In fact, 40% of dog-owners based in the U.S.A. bought some item of clothing for their dog during the year 2020. If you’re looking to upgrade your’s pup’s wardrobe for the new year, the collection of dog jackets from Between Two Naps features some other fun options, like headpieces topped with pillows and puppy-themed, plush racing helmets. The Delivery Jacket, however, is their upcycled option, which comes one-of-a-kind, with a cropped body and elasticated underside. Their design features classic packing labels embedded into the jacket’s fabric that includes random words such as “sleep,” which help the store owners track outbound shipments.

The PooPail features an inclining garbage container with an auto-open lid. Along with the PooPail Scoop, it reduces the collection procedure to a simple sweeping action that allows the poop to instantly be shoveled right into the container. Tilt the container back up and the lid automatically shuts, enclosing the waste inside, keeping it from being seen or smelt. Each PooPail even comes with easy-to-replace biodegradable trash-liners that ensure you never have to clean up or maintain your pooper-scooper. PooPail’s huge storage capacity (4 Gallons) saves you from 28 long journeys to the dumpster by storing many smelly leftovers for up to a week at a time. Its scooper even comes with a grille shape that ensures that as it scoops up the waste, pebbles, sand, and gravel pass right through.

Modern and minimal cat-friendly products designed to help cat lovers and their pets bond better!

I wholeheartedly believe that this is a cat’s world, and we’re just living in it! If you have a cat or two, then you know that they are the true masters of our home, and we are their abiding slaves, tending to their every need, always at their beck and call. They’re the apple of our eyes, and we would do almost anything to keep them happy and comfy, including showering them with fun little pet products, that they can play around with and keep themselves busy. I’m always trying to create a comfortable and interactive living space for my own cats – from playful toys to pet-friendly furniture, I’m ready to invest them in all. And this collection of cat products promise to be the investments that do exactly that! They will cater purrfectly to your cat’s every need! Happy kitties guaranteed!

Cats and humans have different needs and both love personal space – so can these two spaces coexist without compromise? InDot Design created a whole modern apartment that revolves around a glass ‘cat cabin’ which is seamlessly integrated into modern interior aesthetics. No more eye-sore cat trees that don’t fit in with your style! The team broke the previous form of partition walls and placed glass boxes in the space to form a spatial field. You can watch your cats while they watch you and both can still have defined boundaries. The cat cabin is like a floating glass box with a circular iron tube as the main support which also serves as a playful element for your pets.

The Cat Chair from Myzoo was designed for the modern home so that your cat can enjoy their own play and rest areas without compromising the interior design of your living room or den. The Cat Chair is a hexagonal piece of furniture where your cat can rest and also explore. Made from pinewood and a high-density sponge, the Cat Chair features a small lower compartment with cubby holes on each side of the stool for cats to slink in and out of as they choose. The lower compartment allows room for the cat to hide away and relax in isolation, while the stool’s sponge cushion provides an open space for the cat to lounge or even sunbathe.

Cat towers have gone through years of transformation now to reach a point where designers believe it’s a market big enough for Tesla to explore. Before Elon Musk takes heed, designers Hyeonji Roh and Yeonhong Kim have conjured up the Model L – a cat tower named after the letter ‘L’ and is inspired by the cat’s tail. Drawing inspiration from the Tesla logo, which designers believe resembles a cat’s nose, this rather unusual cat tower has more to it than a traditional scratching post, perching slot, and a route to it. The Model L is pretty unique in the choice of material and finish. The glossy idea is rare for a product that usually utilizes wood and fabric. Nonetheless, it doesn’t let down on modernism. This tower with Tesla symbolism may not have the customary scratcher, but it gives your cat a high position to perch in when resting.

Designed by Sulakshana S, Rise is a collection of luxury furniture designs…for cats! Yes, there is luxury furniture for our little cats as well now. Created from premium quality maple wood, and textured sisal fabric, the collection was inspired by architectural columns, wooden dowels, soft edges, and simple geometric shapes. And it really shows through in the furniture pieces! The collection consists of five interesting pieces. You have a beautiful light maple wood chair, that functions as a pet-human chair! This basically means your cat and you can lounge about on the same chair, spending quality time without invading each other’s privacy. The lower section functions as a safe space for your cat to rest in! The collection also includes a litter box with an arched roof.

Designed so that cats and humans could co-inhabit the same living spaces, Jiyoung Kim Studio aimed to create Three Poles with durable building materials and sleek color schemes. Constructed from round birch plywood and three metal poles, each scaffold of Three Poles is removable and can be configured between the three poles to create perches for your cat to either rest or play. In tribute to the classic cat tower, which was entirely coated in beige carpeting, Three Poles incorporate plush carpeting on three scaffolds, its base, and scratching post. Then, the additional scaffolds are constructed from birch plywood, supported by three metal poles that are painted the same brown hue as the plywood. One of the scaffolds constitutes a cat bed that can be removed and put on the floor to function as a traditional cat bed for naps after play.

Just the very sight of a cat-tray lifting off its base and rotating 90° to separate the poop from the litter looks like something NASA would design. With a rather space-oriented name, the Pluto Square is a modern, highly engineered cat litter tray that cleans itself after your feline friend does its business. It comes in a neat cube-shaped avatar that collects the waste over time so you need to clean up just once a week, and a minimalist Scandinavian-inspired design that looks good enough to place in any corner of your home.

Cat Is Art has a simple frame, featuring a rectangular box with a right-hand, round window. The wooden box is mounted onto steel beams that wrap around it to acquire a height similar to that of a mid-rise storage cabinet. Designed for both the cat and cat owner, Cat Is Art’s elemental structure reimagines the ways cat furniture fits into modern homes. The top of the playpen features a storage area with an upright lip that protects any objects from falling down as your cat gets bored and looks for things to knock over. Similarly, smaller cat toys can be stored on Cat Is Art’s top lid so that your cat can play inside the pen and on top of it. Only accessible by your cat, the round porthole on Cat Is Art’s right-hand side is petite and offers an easy escape route for when your cat needs some alone time.

When looking at Co-Living head-on, it appears as just another full-body mirror, but a closer look reveals its multi-functionality. With an arched top and bottom, the mirror stands on one wooden peg in front of Co-Living’s rear cat tower. Constructed vertically, Co-Living is designed to encourage cats’ natural climbing tendencies by incorporating multiple carpeted tiers from which they can hop on and off until reaching the top.

Extending the life cycle of cat accessories, feline furniture design brand Catipilla designed a collection of wall-mounted, sustainable furniture for cats with replaceable components that are built from premium materials to blend in with the rest of your furniture. Catipilla’s furniture collection features pieces like scratching posts, hammocks, and cat climbers, each of which can be mounted onto interior walls. Catipilla designs furniture with quality material to ensure a longer life cycle. Constructed from materials like anodized aluminum and waterproof carpet, each component of their collection is replaceable, adding a degree of durability and insurance to the furniture’s long life cycle. The line of scratchers offers two options: a climber and a scratching post. Differing only in length, the scratching post is shorter in length for cats’ front paws to reach their top.

This interactive cat carrier is a play area that also monitors your pet’s heart rate!

Have you ever tried taking your grumpy kitty out of your home, and into the great big scary world? It’s quite a task, isn’t it? My cats, for one, hate stepping out of our home. And I hate having to actually make them step out, because of the anxiety and tension it causes them. But this is where the Fun Way Cat Carrier comes in!

Designed by Lin, Yu-Fang, Wu & Yi-Hui, this cat carrier is really as fun and playful as a pet product can get! Specially designed for cats, the carrier can be expanded and adjusted in length, to provide suitable space for your pets, ensuring their utmost comfort. The rounded cover on one side of the carrier features an interactive panel. This interactive surface displays information regarding your cat’s tension and heart rate. Whenever you see your pet getting stressed out, you can stroke them and soothe their tension by touching them. This helps us stay connected with our pets, and in tune with their moods. Now, on to, my favorite feature of the Fun Way Cat Carrier – the reason why ‘Fun Way’ is even included in its name. This adorable carrier also doubles up as a mini playground for your pet! When not in use as a carrier, it can be combined with its additional components to create a playful space wherein your cat can run, roll, hop, skip, and play about! This also aids your cat in getting accustomed to the carrier and helping them feel safe and comfortable in the space.

The Fun Way Cat Carrier’s color scheme of blue and pink is also quite cheerful and soothing! It’s a fun and functional pet product accentuated by cute and robust aesthetics. This is a product that I’m sure your fussy cats would approve of!
