Guy Gets 203 Simpsons Characters Tattooed on His Back, One of Them Says “Ha-ha!”

Some people will go to great lengths to show their love for their favorite show and to get into the record books. Michael Baxter, 60, is a grandfather and a prison warden in Barwon, Australia. He hopes to win a Guinness World Record now that he has 203 characters that have appeared on The Simpsons tattooed on his back. That has to be a first.

Baxter is obviously a super fan of the show. He got his first tattoo about a decade ago. And that wasn’t even a Simpsons’ character. But once he started with the Simpsons tattoos, he just couldn’t stop. At least he should be able to hold some kind of new record.

“It’s an addiction,” Mr Baxter said. “Once you get one you want more and more.”

“And why go small when you can go big.’’

I bet the creators find some way to work this guy into the show. I think he deserves it.

Dissected Ralph Wiggum Cake: When I Grow up I Want to Be a Principal or a Pastry!

British Columbia-based designer Kylie Mangles of Freshly Squeez’d has created a realistic 3D cake portraying a half-dissected Ralph Wiggum from The Simpsons. You know Springfield’s famous child weirdo. You probably own the T-shirt.

It was built for Threadcakes, an online competition where people make cakes based on Threadless T-shirt designs. I love that it has so many colors and it looks realistic. I thought I was looking at a statue at first or a really good illustration.

I bet it was delicious, despite the fact that you are digging into an actual human shaped cake that is half dissected with muscle and bone exposed. Well it is only Ralph though.

Skip the Minifigs and Make the Simpsons out of LEGO Bricks

The Simpsons recently aired their LEGO themed episode and to celebrate, Chicago animator David Pickett has created a video tutorial that will teach you how to make the Simpsons family out of LEGO bricks.

Because maybe you are too cheap to buy the real versions. I kid. I kid. That set is expensive and anyway, this will give them more of a brick look if you prefer that to minifigs. Plus these are larger.

The video gives you step-by-step instructions on how to build the whole family. It’s a good project to do with your kids this weekend if nothing else. So get out the bricks and start building.

They are $4 each. All of your favorites are here with their accessories. They look pretty awesome, with some super detail. Sadly, you can’t get the set as a whole. The figures will come blind-bagged, meaning that you don’t know who you’re getting. I hope I get Itchy and Scratchy so I can make my own demented cartoons.

I’ll probably end up getting Millhouse or Ralph Wiggum and then since I’m too cheap that will be it. Oh well. Wait, there’s no Comic Book Guy?
