Artist Transforms Ugly Louis Vuitton Bags into Awesome Star Wars Sculptures

I’ve never really gotten the appeal of Louis Vuitton’s fashions. Not only are they ridiculously expensive, but you have to walk around with somebody’s ugly brand logo stamped all over your stuff. The way I figure it, they should pay you for the free advertising. I suppose if you’re going to have to have all those “LV” logos on your things, they might as well be something cool, like these Star Wars sculptures.

Artist Gabriel Dishaw takes used Louis Vuitton purses and bags and transforms them into awesome Star Wars sculptures. His collection includes stormtrooper and Darth Vader helmets, a crazy Vader-tank, Boba Fett, C-3PO, and an adorable little AT-AT which I’d be happy to have as a pet.

You can check out these and many more of Dishaw’s amazing works of art over on his website and his Instagram feed. I particularly love his toy series. I want that Optimus Subzero on my desk now!

Samsung Darth Vader and Stormtrooper Robot Vacuum Cleaners: Suck! Suck! Suck!

Have you ever wondered how they keep things so clean on the Death Star? Well it turns out those little droids running around the floor of the place are little vacuum cleaners. At least that’s what I’ve been told. For those of you who want your floors as spotless as the Empire’s, check out these fun new vacuum cleaners from Samsung.

The POWERbot VR7000 Star Wars limited edition vacuum comes in Darth Vader and Stormtrooper versions, both of which look so much cooler than ordinary robot vacuum cleaners. In addition to keeping floors clean, they both make sound effects from the movies.

In addition to looking awesome, they’re pretty sophisticated robotic vacuums, offering high suction with clog resistance, and capable of mapping out the ideal path around your room to cover every inch, right up to the corners and along the edges of the wall.

Both vacuums are available for pre-order now from the Samsung website, with the Darth Vader version selling for $799(USD), and the stormtrooper going for $699. The $100 price premium for Vader seems excessive to me, but I guess they’re just taking advantage of the laws of supply and demand. Maybe you can Force choke Samsung into giving you a better deal.

Also, whenever I think of a vacuum being run by guy in a dark helmet, Mega Maid comes to mind…

Stormtrooper Cheese Board: May the Roquefort Be With You

Until now, the only things that were truly cheezy about the Star Wars universe were the prequels, especially Jar Jar Binks. But now you can have a Star Wars and cheese combo any time you desire, thanks to this fun stormtrooper cheese board set.

This cherry wood cheese board is laser engraved in the shape of a stormtrooper helmet, and when you remove the mask, you’ll find a Stilton knife, a Cheddar knife, a hard cheese knife and a cheese fork hiding underneath.

I think that’s it’s a much better idea to go with knives than laser blasters, since we all know that a stormtrooper can’t hit the broad side of a space freighter, let alone a block of gorgonzola. Perhaps they’ll do better with melee weapons like these.

You can pre-order the stormtrooper cheese board over at The Fowndry for $47(USD), and it should ship this November. Naturally, you’ll need to provide your own cheese and crackers.

Realistic Stormtrooper Helmet Cake: Imperial Edible

Aren’t you a little sweet to be a stormtrooper? Check out this cake that looks just like a stormtrooper’s helmet. What I really want is a Stormtrooper helmet cake that I can wear on duty and eat while guarding the halls of the Death Star. By the time my shift is over, helmet gone. I’ll start on a new one tomorrow. That would be awesome.

This episode of How To Cake It, has Yolanda Gampp demonstrating how to make a Star Wars dessert out chocolate cake and fondant icing that looks just like a real stormtrooper helmet.

Well, almost. It has a bit of a duck bill; like Daffy Duck is under that helmet. It still looks pretty awesome and tasty though. Great job.

Darth Vader / Stormtrooper Salt and Pepper Shakers Add a Dash of Evil to Any Meal

Throughout the Star Wars saga, we’ve never seen the Imperial forces take a break out of their day to grab something to eat. But a stormtrooper has got to keep his strength up, so I’m sure they chow down when Darth Vader isn’t looking. To season their food, I’m certain they use these special Imperial salt and pepper shakers.

This pair of hand-painted ceramic shakers are dead ringers for the Dark Lord of the Sith and one of his armor-clad lemmings. They’re perfect for adding a dash of salt and pepper to the otherwise bland meals the Imperial lunch lady serves up in the Death Star cafeteria. I have it on good authority that the Bantha casserole they’ve been serving is horribly bland.

Spice up your meal and grab a pair over on Amazon for just $13.75(USD).

Stormtrooper Barware: Raise a Toast to the Clone Army

Your Star Wars themed bar needs some new drinkware. These cool stormtrooper decanters and shot glasses are going to look damn good in your collection. They’re even based on the original stormtrooper helmet molds created in 1976, so they are 100% screen accurate. Obviously, that’s important when it comes to drinks.

So pour yourself a drink and raise a toast to the Empire – and to the fact that you survived another day, even though your training with a blaster was like 5 minutes long.

The decanter holds 750ml and is made of super flint glass, while the shot glass holds 150ml. Both are available from TheFowndry, with the decanter going for $26.99(USD), and sets of two shot glasses going for $21.99. Drink up. You can’t shoot straight, you might as well not be able to see straight either.

Stormtrooper Helmet Toaster And Waffle Maker: TK-42-WANT

They can’t shoot straight. They are easily mind-controlled and they just aren’t very good soldiers, but stormtroopers can make an awesome breakfast thanks to this Stormtrooper Helmet Toaster and Waffle Maker.

Whether you like your toast on the light or dark side, this is a cool toaster for any fan. The iconic white stormtrooper helmet seems perfectly designed to have 2 toast slots on top. This is probably how Darth Vader makes his toast, while laughing maniacally in his chambers as the toast pops up. The waffle maker will look great in your kitchen as well, cranking out waffles that look just like a Stormtrooper’s helmet.

Either of these would make a great gift for any Star Wars fan. They’re both available from Amazon now. The toaster goes for about $55, while the waffle maker is $40.
