It’s been a good 20 years since the Audi TT Quattro, which launched at the beginning of the new millennium… 20 years is enough for a complete cultural shift, making it the perfect timespan to reimagine an old product with a new visual appeal. Phones in 2000 looked entirely different as compared to phones today, right? So why not iconic cars? Well, meet the Audi GT concept from UK-based Jordan Gendler… designed to be the modern, Gen-Z soul-child of the TT Quattro and the Rosemeyer concept, the conceptual Audi GT revives a classic, with a makeover fit for the modern age.
The Audi GT comes with the same, curve-embracing design that we saw in the TT Quattro, albeit with more sharp, discerning, slim headlamps and taillights, almost echoing the spirit of the year 2020 as opposed to the unabashedly wide-eyed optimism one saw in 2000s. The silhouette of the GT showcases a great deal of similarity in some regard, embracing similar 3D surfacing to give it a rounded appeal. It even embraces the straight line on the sides stretching from fender to fender, seen on the TT Quattro, reminding us of its heritage. There are, however, a few key evolutionary changes that allow the GT concept to look stunningly modern. We’re talking about the hidden headlights, recessed within a notch that runs all around the car like a belt. The GT also sports a more continuous fastback curve on the rear, deviating from the TT Quattro’s almost-notchback design. The rear is perhaps where we see the Rosemeyer concept’s influence come through, although with a more continuous, unbroken curve around the back, giving the GT concept a well-rounded rear (we’re still talking about cars, I assure you). The Audi GT even comes with a split-color paint-job, sporting a metallic finish on the top, with a nude carbon-fiber pattern on the bottom, separated by that continuous horizontal notch. The car comes with a panoramic sunroof that stretches right from the front to the top and back in a continuous fashion, and to give the car its signature futuristic flair, a neat, glowing Audi logo on the hood!

Meet Karina Wiciak of Wamhouse, a Polish designer who has been designing structures based on iconic logos known all over the world! Instantly recognizable because of their inspiration, Karina’s designs utilize negative spacing in the logo to add character and help us imagine how it would be to live in one of these. Looking at them, we can’t wait to see what Karina comes up with more of such brand-worthy designs!
Named as the Trihouse, this conceptual house takes direct inspiration from the Adidas Logo. Now, while this would be an obvious choice for the brand loyalists, the house does hold appeal from a purely aesthetic and architectural point of view. This design is sure to create some interesting corner spaces for the user to work with!
The Ringshouse automatically brings to mind the four companies that combined together to form Audi as we know it today. From afar though they may look like tunnels, the designer, Karina, envisions a pool in the backyard with a view of rolling hills and straw-filled fields in the front of the driveway.
For the love of Chevrolet, meet the bowtie-shaped house named Crosshouse! Imagined as an island, this house stands two-stories tall to be accessed only by a boat, this boat is perfect for the loner who would love to cut off from the surroundings!
Mitsubishi’s three-diamond logo comes to life in this ‘A-shaped’ Pyrahouse! With the glass-fronted windows offering a peek into the interior of the house, the functioning space is visually divided into three individual bits that allow the user to rearrange and match each section to their need.
Rhombhouse encompasses Renault’s diamond-shaped logo! Though the narrow base of the render does make us question the stability of the structure, this house is sure to stand out among the sea of homes we see.
The streamlined Audi e-tron GT looks like it was inspired by a wind-tunnel test!
It isn’t often that we see a car with such a tight, dramatic curve running along the top from front to back. Almost borrowing from a style that Lamborghini adopted with its classics like the Countach, the Audi e-tron GT concept is an autonomous vehicle designed for long-distance travel. That beautiful unbroken curve on the top, it doesn’t just give the car aerodynamics, it also allows the car to have a larger, more spacious cabin.
In fact, the focus on spacious-ness (if that’s even a word) is perhaps the e-tron GT’s biggest selling point. With just two seats on the inside, infinite leg-room, and a dedicated space to store your luggage and bags, the e-tron GT is all about taking a break (brake?) from driving and leaving it up to the car’s AI, which works on Level 5 autonomy. Riders access the car using its two massive gullwing doors and are greeted with a cabin that looks quite like a room on wheels. The e-tron GT doesn’t come with steering wheels or controls. Instead, a wraparound dashboard screen communicates with you, greeting you when you enter, and giving you ride updates as you proceed.
The car’s exteriors are rather interesting too. The automobile is characterized by a continuous panoramic sunroof that goes all the way from the front to the back, while the sides have discreet one-way windows that seamlessly blend with the car’s side panels thanks to the use of a translucent metallic paint job. The e-tron GT’s aesthetic mirrors the Cybertruck in a variety of ways too, from the use of silver paint and black glass, to the relatively angular design, and even the razor-thin headlamps and taillamps… although the e-tron GT looks a whole lot better, in my opinion.
