Perfect for your paper route!
Here’s a DIY crafts project that’s worthy of being on a design blog. The Paper Push is a scooter made out of easily procurable materials, primarily newspaper, PVC pipes and fittings, and metal fasteners. The design boasts of being sturdy enough to rival scooters made of metal. The most interesting parts of the scooter (and what really caught my eye) are however, the tires. Made from a paper rolling and folding technique known as Tutki, the tires look beautifully rustic, but at the same time manage to take on a great deal of stress, resisting wear and tear to quite an extent. I’d love to see the application of this in more green design or rural design scenarios! What do you know, maybe NASA may even engineer something using this technique that may be fit for space travel! Thoughts, Yanko family?

Fetch, Boy!
Newie does what every good dog does. Fetching the newspaper. But Newie does it better. It doesn’t drool all over the front page! So for you guys who like the idea of having your very own canine paper-boy without the extra frills of drool and fur-allergies, Newie is easily your best bet. This doggie inspired newspaper stand also has a dedicated space to store magazines. Let’s see your mutt do that!

Tired of Reading Stuff On Screen? PaperLater Can Print It For You
Fancy reading this post on paper? Don’t hit the print button on your browser; instead, save it for PaperLater and they’ll do the rest. PaperLater is a service by the Newspaper Club which turns blogs, commentaries, and online blurbs into printed newspapers, which they will then mail out for your reading pleasure.
The concept will appeal to those who prefer reading print newspapers instead of their digital editions and to those who simply want to read something off screen once in a while.
PaperLater is currently in public beta and is available to residents of the UK, but the service will eventually be launched in other countries.

PaperLater Lets You Read Stuff Found Online, Offline
Most publishers are going the digital route these days, from newspapers and magazines to tabloids, and books. While you can still get them in print, some publishers have chosen to make their content available exclusively on a digital platform. Then there’s content that’s available only digitally, like this post on Technabob, for example.
If you’re old school and prefer reading stuff off screen and on paper, then PaperLater might be a service that you’d like to subscribe to. It’s a service run by the Newspaper Club that allows users to save online content for printing later. When you’re done adding articles for your own personal newspaper of online content, PaperLater will print it and ship it to your doorstep.
PaperLater is currently in public beta and is available to users in the UK, but it will be available in more countries in the future.
