Official Cacodemon and Pain Elemental Plushes: Toys from the Doom Old Days

On one hand, many of the fans of the original Doom games are too old to be playing with plushies. On the other hand, some kids might be find these toys too freaky. So really, these are for teenagers who may or may not have played Doom.

Then again, the monsters in Where the Wild Things Are are far scarier than the Cacodemon plush. Heck, Suezo from Monster Rancher is faaaar scarier than these two.

Fight your way to Bethesda’s online store to order the Cacodemon and the Pain Elemental plushies. Each toy costs $15 (USD) and is about 7″ tall. What would really make everyone’s Halloween is if Atlus released plushies of the Shin Megami Tensei demons.

Minecraft Sword Plushie: Fleece + Felt + Fake Leather + Foam

deviantART member/miner/crafter AwesomeTikiWiki made this Minecraft sword plushie as “a present of sorts.” I think she gave it to someone she hated, because this sword won’t help anyone defeat even a pixelated chicken.

AwesomeTikiWiki says she painstakingly sewed this huggable weapon by hand to make sure that she got the pixelated look right. Head to her deviantART page to check her crafting recipe.

Mega Man Mega Buster & Helmet Plushies: Arm & Head Upgrade

I’m sure Mega Man fans already know – and pre-ordered – about the old school Mega Man statue that Capcom unveiled for the Blue Bomber’s 25th anniversary. But if you’d rather be Mega Man, go grab Capcom Japan’s limited edition Mega Buster and Helmet set.

Sonic Hello Kitty Should Sell Out Speedily

Although he’s still a legend among fans of platform games, Sonic the Hedgehog hasn’t exactly had a great run in recent years. Perhaps some help from another famous mammal could boost his ratings?

This kawaii mashup is the first of Sega and Sanrio’s character collaborations. Sonic Hello Kitty will first be released in Japan, particularly at the reopening of Sega’s Joyopolis amusement park in Tokyo. The hedgehog-cat will then make its way throughout the world by summer next year, along with the other mashups. I’m looking forward to Hangyodon Seaman. Actually I’m not.
