Original The Legend of Zelda Map Printed In 3D
Back in the day, if you wanted to have a record of where the dungeons and secrets were in a game like The Legend of Zelda, you had to draw your own map. These days you can just 3D print a detailed map, like this amazing replica of the game’s entire overworld.
Willard McFarland bought this unique creation from the Facebook group Trade Sell Collect Retro. McFarland says that the person he bought it from had spent six months building the map in Minecraft, then output the map to a 3D model. After that, it took 24 hours of printing and six hours of painting to complete.
The results are so drool worthy. I wish I had bought this.

Legend of Zelda Escape Rooms Are Coming
Legend of Zelda Link Ladies Romper: It’s Dangerous to Clothe Alone
Growing up, The Legend of Zelda was the one video game that all of my friends wanted to play when they came over. I found the game incredibly frustrating, but play it I did. If you are a fan of the Zelda franchise and need a cute gift to give your lady, this is the ticket.
The Legend of Zelda Link Ladies Romper looks like the green outfit that Link wore in the game franchise. It’s kind of hot too, sort of like a less revealing alternative to Leia’s gold bikini.
The hooded romper is screenprinted, and has brown cuffs that go around your thumbs sort of like leather gauntlets. The romper will cost you $24.99(USD) over at ThinkGeek.
Beautiful, Dark Zelda Meets Fallout Mashup Art
There’s nothing I love more than some good mashup art and ideas, like this series of artworks combining the post Nuclear world of the Fallout games with characters from The Legend of Zelda and the kingdom of Hyrule.
This is some beautiful work done by Andrew D. Tran, who specializes in these kind of mashups between famous fantasy and pop culture series and objects. The combination of the innocent looking Zelda, Link and others (except for Ganon) with the rugged look of the Fallout universe works very well.
Lone Wanderer Link
Power Armor Ganondorf
Deathclaw Ganon
Dogmeat Midna
Scrounger Sheik
Gunslinger Zelda

For more Fallout stuff, check out this nice story about a man consumed by the game he lost everything, and for the lighter side of the game, simply go through some brilliant fan art.
24K Gold NES To Celebrate Zelda’s 30th Anniversary
It was 30 years ago when we first met Link and in the debut of The Legend of Zelda. There are plenty of ways to celebrate the anniversary. One of them is a 24k Gold NES. Not flashy at all.
Analogue, who have the Analogue Nt, which is the closest you’ll get to an actual, original Nintendo system, are bringing out their flashiest edition yet. They’re dipping each piece of the Analogue Nt’s aluminum enclosure in gold from every possible direction, and hand polishing for the nice, shiny look we expect when we’re getting something authentic and gold.
The inside of the machine hasn’t been forgotten, having every unit sporting a transparent baseplate, so you can see exactly how the Analogue Nt is inside. And of course, the crown jewel and the reason for all this grandeur: The Legend of Zelda original gold colored cartridge.
For those willing to pay the $4999 for this truly magnificent piece of gaming machinery that also celebrates one of the most important and still popular video games of all time, you have to be quick: There are only ten units being made.
And remember, there’s a new game coming out this year to celebrate the 30-year anniversary, although right now it’s only available for pre-order.
Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask Life-size Masks Will Transform You into a Cosplayer
Etsy seller James Sharp of Masenko Props is our world’s Happy Mask Salesman. He’s made life-size replicas of Majora’s Mask, the Deku Mask and the Goron Mask from Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask. Mask mask mask.
Even though they’re all made from cast polyurethane resin, James’ Fierce Deity painting skills make all three masks look like they’re made of wood, stone and whatever the hell Majora’s Mask is made of.
Turn back time and head to Etsy to order the masks. Majora’s Mask costs ~$140 (USD), while both the Deku Mask and Goron Mask go for $130 each.

The Legend of Zelda Title Screen Blanket: A Stitch Between Worlds
Link, Princess Zelda and the rest of The Legend of Zelda series turned 30 yesterday, so I thought I’d look for a Zelda-related item as a birthday present. I didn’t have to look far, thanks to Sprite Stitch forum member rufusdampfer, who crocheted this awesome blanket that depicts the title screen from the first game in the series.
Rufusdampfer says they spent around 2 hours each day for 4 months to create the blanket.
You can hear it too, can’t you? Happy birthday Hyrule! May you have more stories to come.

30 Best Legend of Zelda Tattoos to Celebrate It’s 30th Anniversary!
Today is February 21, 2016. It is the 30th anniversary of the Legend of Zelda first release, a game that has meant so much to so many people over the years they couldn’t help but tattoo something from it on their body.
So when choosing 30 amazing Zelda tattoos, what will one find? A lot of Link tattoos of course, Legend of Zelda quotes to make the tattoo look inspirational (some of them actually are), showing up as sleeve tattoos or even the more impressive full back tattoos, that often include the Hylian Shield in some form or way or a Majora’s Mask tattoo, although they often come in smaller sizes.
What began with the Legend of Zelda 30 years ago has gone on through many phases, shapes and looks over the years. There’s a new ‘Legend of Zelda’ game coming out this year on the Wii U if there won’t be any interruptions. A Link or Legend of Zelda tattoo is always a nice, permanent way of having a reminder of what the game and character meant to you at a certain point in your life, no matter how much things change later on.

Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds Figma Link is Not in Ravio’s Shop
Good Smile Company must be huge fans of The Legend of Zelda. This new Figma Link, based on the Hero of Time’s appearance in 3DS adventure The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, is the toymaker’s fourth Link action figure.
This Link definitely has an old school look. I prefer Link’s teenage incarnations, like the one in Skyward Sword for instance, but this one’s charming as well. The 4″ action figure is equipped with Ravio’s bracelet, the Master Sword and the Hylian Shield. It also has two swappable heads – one is smiling while the other is dead serious.
Link also comes with a sheet showing him in his painting mode, as well as a pot and a rupee. The toy’s deluxe version also comes with a Tornado Rod, a Hookshot, a bomb and a baby Maiamai.
You can pre-order the A Link Between Worlds Figma Link from Good Smile Company’s online shop. The normal version costs about $40 (USD) while the deluxe or DX version costs $10 more.
