Leggage Carries Laptops, Massages Feet

Intercontinental trips are fun, but they can also take a toll on your body – especially on your feet. Seeing that most people can’t live without their laptops or tablets these days, it makes sense to get a case that could somehow address both these situations, doesn’t it? And a case like that comes in the form of Leggage.

Leggage 620x397magnify

Leggage is a case designed to hold most of your gadgets, from your laptop and tablet to your smartphones and music players. Leggage can fit up to 15.6-inch laptops and weighs a little over three pounds. It also doubles as a foot massager with it’s ridged and angled surface giving your feet some TLC when you most need it. It’s important to note these design elements because the Leggage isn’t a powered massager; rather, you have to do part of the work by rubbing the soles of your feet against it.

Leggage is available online for $79.99(USD).

Breast Gymnastics Hand Massager

Need a hand with that? This very odd and very Japanese health product purports to shape and tone your bust into a better form via a hand-like massage. In fact the Breast Gymnastics Hand Massager (love that name btw) is actually modeled after a real woman’s hand- Takiko Shindo (“famed for her miraculous breast gymnastics” apparently). Just grab the hand and let Takiko massage you in those places you normally can’t reach and return your boobs to their original buoyant beauty. Uhhhmmm yeah.

Foot-Powered Back Massager: Too Complicated for Comfort?

Want a massage? Then give yourself one by getting one of the many available self-massaging devices available on store shelves in most retailers.

Massagers are pretty common gadgets and they’re usually pretty easy to use. Most of them anyway, with the notable exception of the foot-powered back massager with hand tool that you see pictured below.

Even their model looks like she’s having a hard time with the device, but maybe that’s just me imagining what it would be like to try using this thing they call a massager.

It’ll probably be easier to use though, once you get the hang of it. The massager is described as allowing “the user to apply firm pressure for extended periods of time while completey relaxing the target muscles.” It also instructs users to adjust the push-button locking pin for back pain relief. Or you could just go see a good massage therapist.

The foot-powered back massager retails for about $50 (USD) over on Amazon.

Massage Mouse Vibrates Aches Away

I’ve seen some strange mice over the years, but this mouse that doubles as a vibrating massager is one of the strangest. The mouse is called simply the Massage Mouse and has an ambidextrous design.

massage mouse

Designed to help you work out tension while you work on your computer, the wireless will offer 10 different vibration levels and two different vibration patterns, including steady and pulse modes. It’s not just designed to massage your hand though – you can pick it up to work out knots in your shoulders, arms, neck or **anywhere**. The mouse is wireless and has recharging base that connects to the computer via USB. The device uses optical tracking technology and has three buttons on the side to control the massaging effect. It lacks actual buttons instead using a touch sensitive surface for clicking. The mouse also has “relaxing” LED illumination around the outside and will work for Mac or Windows users.

Pricing and availability for the Massage Mouse are unknown, though it will be shown off at CES in January 2013.

eSSage Gives You a Massage, Without the Masseuse

Nothing beats getting a massage after a long, hard day at work. But if you’re too beat to even drive to your favorite spa or call for home service, then there’s another alternative (provided it gets manufactured, that is): the eSSage.

eSSageIt might not be the first time someone thought about making a self-massaging suit so that you can, well, give yourself a massage, but it’s one of the concepts that pretty well thought-out. It’s controlled remotely via an Android or iOS app, where you can point your stylus (or finger) on the nodes that you want to work on.

You can also have someone else “do” the massage for you by passing on the app and stylus.

Digital Masseuse

eSSage is a massage suit that makes it possible to receive a massage from a  trained specialist or even a loved one no matter the distance. The suit connects through WiFi and uses an Apple/Android app that lets the person on the other end use a stylus to control the suit’s electro-active polymer nodes that change shape when hit with an electrical charge. Create a custom massage of your own or let the “masseur” work out those knots!
