Bellingham, Washington artist Ivan Owen of Danger First has created a pair of really large and really awesome mechanical hands. What impresses me the most is how detailed they are and how well they move.
He calls them “Gepetto’s Folly,” and created them with a laser cutter using wood, leather, steel, and brass. There are just tons of components that make up each hand. With hands like this, Ivan can take over the world. I would love to see what kind of mechanical armor suit he could come up with.

These hands are available to purchase as a set or individually from his MechMadness Designs Etsy shop for $350(USD) each. I don’t recommend punching anyone with these things. It could hurt.
