Some of us are old enough to remember playing the Atari 2600 when it first arrived on the scene, but even younger gamers have to appreciate the console’s sweet 1970’s wood paneling design. Now you can wear that design on a kickass hoodie.

The Atari 2600 hoodie is the latest in a line of console-based apparel from Merchoid. It joins the NES hoodie, SNES hoodie, and PlayStation hoodie. Call me a gaming nerd, but I just love how they captured the essence of the console on this hoodie. It’s just perfect. I guess this would make you the cartridge. I bet the Atari 5200 would make for a stunning looking hoodie as well.

More Than 80,000 People Bought A Dinosaur Hoodie That Was Featured On Stranger Things

Here’s a fun little story that’s actually uplifting. The non-profit Science Museum of Minnesota in St. Paul has sold made over $3 Million in one day from people rushing to buy a hoodie that was shown in the Netflix show Stranger Things.

The design was originally released in the 80’s as part of a traveling exhibit, when the Costume Designer for Stranger Things approached the museum to get one made for the show. Now after being shown on Netflix, demand has skyrocketed for the design and 80,000 were sold before the website completely crashed. People were also rushing to the museum itself to try and snag one.

Obviously this is just a good thing for a non-profit museum and they say the designs will be back in stock shortly.

The hoodie is available for $36, but the design is available on other apparel including on T-shirts.

Human contact. We all need it. We don’t always get it unfortunately. And sadly whenever you hold a “Free Hugs” sign up in public, it just seems to keep others even further away. So what can you do? Samurai Armor Hoodie: Perfect for NERF Swords

Feudal Japan would have been way different if samurais ran around wearing hoodies. Sure, swords would just go through them like a knife through butter, but they would have looked damn good. Modern samurais however, can wear these cool hoodies and stay safe… or at least warm.

These hoodies are designed to look like the kozane armor that samurais wore way back in the day. Wearing a sword is optional and may get you into trouble these days though. It does a great job recreating the layered shell armor that protects warriors from sword blades.

The front has armor-like patches with flock print patterns. The buttons at the top of the hood let you hang decorative elements and O-rings on the top front armor have removable silk himo cords.

Other features include removable shoulder armors, a finger loop on the wrist armor, and even a hanya mask with elastic straps that doubles as a neck warmer. what more could you want from modern Samurai armor?

You can order your Samurai Armor Hoodie over on Indiegogo now for $320(USD). The campaign has already blown through its funding goal, so they’re expected to go into production with deliveries starting this Fall.

Persona 4 Golden Clothing Line: Style Link

One of my favorite things about Persona 4 is that the characters wore ordinary clothes, even when they became supernatural investigators. They even changed outfits from time to time! And now we can rock some of their wardrobe, thanks to Insert Coin Clothing’s officially licensed collection.

The collection consists of 8 clothes and Chie’s pins, which look poorly made so I didn’t bother including them here. My favorites are Chie’s jacket and the June’s t-shirt.

Insert Coin sells the jackets for $84 (USD), the hoodie for $56 and the t-shirts for $30.

ThinkGeek teams up with Capcom once again to throw Mega Man fans a bone in the form of an officially licensed hoodie. The hood has helmet details sewn on, while the left arm sleeve has the Mega Blaster’s lights printed on it. The hoodie’s zipper is an E-tank and the hood’s lining is printed with 8-bit Mega Man drawings.
