These Star Wars Motorcycle Helmets Will Protect You on Trench Runs

The folks over at HJC make some very cool motorcycle helmets, and now, they are offering a series of officially licensed Star Wars helmets. So now when you ride your motorcycle, you can pretend you are in a spaceship and really look the part.

They are offering three new styles: An open-face X-Wing Pilot helmet, and full-face Boba Fett and Kylo Ren helmets. That X-Wing helmet looks damn good, but don’t be tempted to put some actual wings on your bike. That won’t end well, but I bet you can dock an Artoo unit behind you somewhere to help you navigate.

ASMR Guided Meditation with Kylo Ren

After seeing how he acted out in The Force Awakens, I assumed that Kylo Ren’s bad attitude would only be able to get you riled you up. But it turns out that his deep, mechanically-enhanced voice can also be quite soothing.

The guys from Auralnauts captured this rare recording of Kylo Ren as he leads us through a relaxing and and tension-relieving guided meditation. The recording is shockingly calming, though I highly recommend a good pair of headphones to get the full benefit of Kylo’s counsel.

By the end, you’ll be totally chill, but you’ll also feel quite conflicted about remaining with the rebellion.

Kylo Ren Build-a-Bear Won’t Kill Han Solo Bear

Leave it to Build-a-Bear Workshop to be constantly coming up with stuffed animals that my daughter will die without. The latest plush plaything that my daughter “needs” is this Kylo Ren bear, that looks just like the bad boy from The Force Awakens (if he were a teddy bear.)

The $35 bear features Ren’s iconic mask, and comes with the hood and cape as well.  You can get the soft “T” lightsaber as an accessory for another $12.

There’s also a complete set for $63 that includes a Star Wars bear, the Kylo Ren costume, lightsaber and a pair of black rubber boots.

Kylo Ren Lightsaber Room Light

Are you overly emotional? Do you feel the need to swing your lightsaber and wreck everything in your room? Well, the next time you feel the need to throw a tantrum, just grab this Kylo Ren Lightsaber Room Light off your wall and get to destroying stuff.

kylo_ren_lightsaber_1

This light allows you to both build your own evil lightsaber and have it keep your room illuminated. Just try not to destroy the whole house okay. Oh, and don’t kill your father!

It will add some nice ambience to your room, so that when you talk to your grandfather’s helmet, it will seem more meaningful and dramatic.

LEGO Kylo Ren Has a Sweet Bedroom

I was watching the odd flick Midnight Special last night with my daughter and she recognized Adam Driver as “That dude from Star Wars.” Shortly after that she also pointed out he was tall, as in the tallest person in the scene with all the military in the room. She says, “He’s the tallest guy in the room. Well that’s embarrassing.” I had no idea how tall Kylo Ren was. After seeing Ren in a different flick last night, I ran across this LEGO version of Kylo Ren hanging out in his room.

lego_kylo_ren_bedroomzoom in

I bet this is exactly what his room looks like somewhere deep inside the belly of that massive star destroyer he flies around in. His room is decorated up in Darth Vader stuff, which is to be expected. He would totally have Vader’s melted mask in there too I think. It also looks like he’s go at red Luxo, Jr. hanging out in there, which makes you wonder if a Pixar / Star Wars crossover is in our future.

I keep wondering if no one told Kylo that grandpa realized at the end that the Dark Side was bad.

Kylo Ren Costume Hoodie: I Will Finish the Cosplay You Started

This Kylo Ren hoodie will make you look just like the emo villain from Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Now all you need is a substandard lightsaber and a bad attitude.

kylo_ren_hoodie_1zoom in

This Kylo Ren hoodie is much better than a real costume, because it won’t take forever to put on. Let’s face it, your parents don’t understand. Nobody does. You’ll show them. You’ll show them all. Stupid adults.

Now you will look like you belong in the Knights of Ren. You better get busy making a lightsaber. If it looks like it is on the fritz, don’t worry about it. It’s all good. It’s only $69.99(USD) from SuperHeroStuff.

Kylo Ren’s Lightsaber Hilt: Get a Grip

Kylo Ren’s unusual lightsaber is so popular, we saw fan-made replicas of the weapon more than a year before Star Wars: The Force Awakens came out. Now that the movie has been released and more reference materials have surfaced we’ll see more accurate third-party replicas, such as this hilt from Etsy store Steam Sailor.

Steam Sailor proprietor Michael Tinson 3D prints and hand-paints each hilt. He says the latter alone takes him up to 5 hours, and apparently it’s a huge hit, so your order may take a while. Michael sells a ready-to-assemble kit for about $46 (USD) and a fully assembled hilt for around $83. He also has the lightsaber’s end cap, as well as a compatible belt clip and a replica of Kylo Ren’s belt buckle.

LEGO Star Wars Minifigs in Ship Costumes: A New KanColle

Flickr user Nick Chen aka solscud made a cute collection of Star Wars minifigures wearing their respective vehicles. For instance, Kylo Ren has his command shuttle, Han Solo is wearing the Millennium Falcon and Rey is, well, in the Millennium Falcon, but with the new different radar dish.

Google’s Star Wars Website Asks You to Pick Sides

Google Star Wars Website 01

Since the launch of Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens is less than a month away, Google figured out that it’s about time people chose whether they want to fight for the Light or the Dark Side.

Found at google.com/starwars, the site in question offers its visitors a simple choice, but with life-altering consequences. Basically, what the tech giant would very much like to know is which side of the Force you’d rather be fighting (or just rooting) for: the Light Side or the Dark Side. The consequence is presented in the form of a skin for 11 of Google’s service, so choose wisely, young Padawan (or Sith Acolyte, I don’t judge)!

The first thing you’ll see after shooting up the website is a loading circle along with the Google and Star Wars brands positioned on each side of a lightsaber. Clever? Very much so, I’d say, since every element of the website needed to be themed, and they couldn’t have left a boring loading page in place, now could they?

Assuming that you’re already logged into your Google account in the browser that you’re using, a page will appear next, asking you to choose your side. On the left, there’s Rey representing the Light Side, while on the right there’s Kylo Ren on a dark background, holding his lightsaber in hand.

If you happen to choose the Light Side, the whole background will change to a picture of Rey and BB-8 in the dessert. Your avatar will get a filter (blue if you join the Light Side), and you will be announced that you’ve joined the side you picked on the previous page. A small Alliance Starbird is displayed, along with the 11 (now themed) services that you can visit.

Personally, I would recommend you to join the Dark Side, not only because the background image is much cooler, but also because they have cookies. Or so they said. As you can see in the above image, Kylo Ren is displayed with his Swiss knife-like lightsaber in a fighting position, and other than that, and the Empire’s logo, there aren’t any differences from the Light Side’s page.

Most of the differences are visible on Google’s services after picking a side. For example, Gmail’s loading bar is now a lightsaber that fills with red for the Dark Side, respectively with blue for the Light Side. The same goes for the progress and volume bars on YouTube. In Google Maps, you’re location is now shown using a TIE fighter or an X-wing.

The background of the services also changes, to reflect that you’ve shown your allegiance to a particular Side. You can tell which Side I prefer, and according to the website, I’m not the only one, as most people seem to go with Kylo Ren. Star Wars definitely has a lot of fans, and as VP of Product Management Clay Bavor pointed out, the Google galaxy is full of them: “You can regularly spot Darth Vaders, dogs dressed like Yoda, and even the occasional stormtrooper, roaming the halls of our data centers (probably still looking for those droids).”

Star Wars Kylo Ren Helmet Prop is Awesomely Expensive

The geeks over at Entertainment Earth are offering up a new prop that you might want to add to your Star Wars memorabilia collection. This one comes from The Force Awakens, and is based on villain Kylo Ren’s screen-used helmet.

kylo-renzoom in

It is a 1:1 scale helmet with metalized elements designed to look exactly like the one in the film. The creators were given access to the actual screen prop to build the replica. It’s adjustable and will fit people with hat size up to 8. Does anyone here really know their hat size?

You can pre-order yours for $699.99 at Entertainment Earth. Keep in mind that the helmet won’t show up at your door until July 2016, well after the movie this theaters, so if the flick ends up sucking, you might regret your purchase.
